| ![]() Quote: 1. Before the advent of mammoth sized mobile devices, the mobiles usually were of a size that will easily fit into this Docking Unit, 2. We are more used to working on our Mobiles in both Portrait and Landscape modes, as opposed to occasional use of Touchscreen ICEs, 3. People prefer Google Maps with Live Traffic Updates over GPS Navigation provided by the ICEs, and so makes more sense to mount your Mobile there instead of a separate touch screen at 2 different levels, 4. Most people store their favorite tracks on their mobiles, and play them over their ICEs via Bluetooth or Aux. By attaching an Aux Cable and fixing your mobile on the Mobile Docking Unit, you can simply play music from your mobile without having to stream it via Bluetooth, 5. You have the option to USB Charge your Mobile while it's docked, 6. You can use an older Android mobile permanently in your Mobile Dock for using it as your car's ICE and Navigation (MAY BE THAT WILL ENCOURAGE SOMEONE TO BREAK IN TO STEAL YOUR MOBILE, BUT OTHER THAN THAT SOUNDS FUN ![]() 7. It is cheaper than a Touchscreen System, 8. With options like Pioneer SPH-C19BT, you can even get a display of Reverse Parking Sensors on your mobile docked in the unit, and Steering Mounted Controls also work with this unit, so that problem is also taken care of (Link - https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/car-e...s-7-150-a.html (Pioneer launches SPH-C19BT Music System for Rs 7,150)). I wanted to create a poll on the forum to see how many agree with my views, but am yet to be able to do it. | |

| ![]() The website of Datsun Go Plus advertises that the new 2018 Datsun Go Plus has an automatic rain sensing wipers kind of a system (attaching screenshot). Can the mods or any owners confirm if this indeed is true, or do they want to refer to the Drop Wipe Function the previous models had which wipes the windshield again after a few seconds when you use the front washer to clean the windshield. ![]() |

| ![]() Has anyone noticed that the new Datsun Go+ brochure mentions that it now comes with Speed Sensing Auto Door Locks and complies with Side Crash and Pedestrian Protection Regulation? Attaching the screenshot and brochure below. ![]() Datsun has been giving all it can to make the twins sell, but I guess till they can bring in the Triber's modularity inside, it will never appeal to the mass market. It's got a bigger engine, better torque, even CVT now, but that rearward sloping roofline, thin seats and bench folding mechanism neither makes it a better 5 seater, nor a good 5+2 seater. I really pity Datsun now with the Triber's launch and initial success. |
