This is the second time it has been happening with me, the same issue happened last month, the car was towed to the SVC and they boiled down the issue to some wiring problem and returned the car. The car ran fine for a month and today I am faced with the same problem again.

The problem is, the car refuses to start and keeps buzzing the TPMS error sound and all sorts of warning lamps on the instrument cluster.
It goes like, I press the push start button and it reaches till the ignition mode, after that it refuses to acknowledge the push button and keeps shouting TPMS error and also the brake pedal becomes too hard to press than it should be when the engine is off. The car remains stuck at ignition mode till I remove the battery terminals. The battery is not the issue here as it was confirmed by the A.S.S staff last month.

Has anyone faced this issue ? If yes, then please suggest a quick fix so that the car becomes drivable for me to take it to the A.S.S. I am attaching a video for a better understanding.

When a similar thing happened to me, it boiled down to battery issues and had to replace the battery

Thanks for the quick reply. The last time this happened the service staff brought a spare battery and tried to start the car with that but the issue remained. I have asked the A.S.S to come check the car in the morning.

I own the 2023 Automatic Safari. The interface is different, however it appears to be a series of random warnings. I faced a similar issue and it was diagnosed to a low battery. After a jump start at home by TM RSA team, the car continued to show random TMPS, transmission, ESC faults. All of these vanished after a few kms of sedate drive, as advised by the RSA Team.
If you are on the original battery, in my experience the battery is nearing its EOL. I have never seen a battery pull beyond 4 years.

Thank you for the insight. The car is at ASC, somehow it started after the technicians tried removing and plugging many of the sockets and terminals. With a CHECK ENGINE light, I drove the car sedately to the ASC, will update the issue as soon I get the information from the ASC.

Re: 2021 Tata Safari Review

My Safari's battery was replaced couple of weeks ago. It just refused to start & displayed drivetrain error on screen. My car is almost 3 years old with 44k kms on the odometer, so I was sort of prepared for the same. Called up regular SA at Multitech motors who guessed (on phone) it could be dead battery. He shared the contact of Exide dealer who replaced the battery at my home parking.

So yes, when the battery is weak, the instrument cluster will display many errors, but the TPMS error on @Rshreyansh is weird IMO. It could be case of rats damaging the wires, better get it checked in your presence.
