Cheers,

They aren't HSRP
They miss the laser embossed 9 digit number.

You're better off getting either a real HSRP or a cheapo number plate. This isn't that cheap and won't get you real peace of mind either. Neither here nor there.

They claim that it was their work, when it was not so. Only tricksters, cheats and mimics do that.

Speedex plates also look nice (couple of my friends here have them) and don't have IND or hologram on them. Quite a nice price for the plates as well!

Ordered the plates on Saturday, shipped on Monday and received them today!

I called them first before ordering and told them exactly how I want the plates to be. Ordered them on eBay and sent them a lengthy message with pictures on what I told them on phone.

This is how I got the plates. Uh oh

IND-style Number Plates : Movell, Orbiz etc.-img_20150708_171731001.jpg

Yup, the plates are bent. But thankfully its nothing major. I can straighten them and put it on.

IND-style Number Plates : Movell, Orbiz etc.-img_20150708_172011001.jpg

This is how the plates look. Exactly how I wanted. No IND or hologram so no cop troubles

IND-style Number Plates : Movell, Orbiz etc.-img_20150708_172023001.jpg

The plates cost Rs 599 - 60 (10% cashback from Mobikwik) = Rs 539. Amazing value for money considering I know couple of friends who paid Rs 1500 for plates which looked exactly same as these!

Overall Rating : 4/5. One point deducted for the bent plates. Although its the transporter's fault, perhaps they should put two pieces of plastic along with cardboard while packing to avoid this.

Their packing is terrible! Because my order had plastic frames they did not bend. Else I would have got them the same condition as you. Please email them and ask them to send you a new set. I am sure they will help you with this.

Nah, its okay. Took me 5 minutes to straighten the bent plates and now they're absolutely fine!

Unrelated but - you mentioned Cop trouble for the IND and color designs? Is this in Bangalore city ? Are the cops catching & Fining (Rather Harassing) people for these plates?

Yes - Bengaluru Cops are catching people with irregular number plates, however it is not so strictly followed on cars with IND plates. It is still illegal though.

A facebook post from Bengaluru Traffic Police with a video from a news channel, aired just after the raids were conducted in bangalore. I could only find the kannada version :

Raid on IND plate makers in Bengaluru : http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/c...w/46160494.cms

re: IND-style Number Plates : Movell, Orbiz etc.

This is not the original High Security Registration Plate or the HSRP as it is well known.
Reasons ?
1. The material is plastic where as the one scheduled by the law is made of aluminum.
2. The registration plate is scheduled to have a serial number. The one above doesn't.
3. Last but not the least. The HSRP is to be got from government tasked contractors. Any Tom Dick or Harry is not authorized to make and install the HSRP.
So better avoid these plastic plates to avoid the cops.
