FULL ON strip and paint. No half measures here, we will ensure that ALL traces of any work done earlier are removed. We will remove all 'dusshakunam's.

That said, JayD's paint/body shop is ultra-meticulous and will take a long time. I'm okay by this as everyone is very happy with the Fiat - my dad took it to Guruvayoor yesterday and enjoyed every bit of the drive and the attention the car generated.

Vishvakarma(Sanskrit: विश्वकर्मा viśvá-karman "all-accomplishing; all-creator") is the Hindu presiding deity of all craftsmen and architects.[1] He is the "Principal Universal Architect", the architect who fabricated and designed the divine architecture of the Universe at the behest of Brahma, the Lord of Creation.

Vishvakarman - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

All hindu artisans pay homage to this guys before undertaking anything large. Maybe steer needed to do that with the Land-1. His string of woes with the other cars also points to some divine interference :(

Wokay! Update time again!! Took delivery of the 'Beast' from nikki today, and headed straight to the paintshop. The detailed estimate will be given tomorrow, as it was quite late today when i reached there. The car is nice to drive. Just needs a lil tightenin up once the paintjob is complete.

Here are (possibly) the last pix of the car in its current avtaar!

A poor battle scarred beast entered the hospital, its master hoped his pet would be perfect again, washing away, all memories of previous abuse but alas, all is not rosy... Yet again!! When will it ever end, wonders everyone.

Metal paste is real optimistic thinking now.

Steer, please remove those dangling chains from your car. IT LOOKS REALLY BAD! I told you this before if I remember correct.

Boss that is the least of my worries - I finally spoke to JayD (who was in school when I tried calling him this morning).

What I heard has my blood boiling. More in detail after we see the pics - stripping the paint revealed what is beneath and also what a bunch of low-life thieves those guys are.

Yes, I understand your frustration and anger. But what has to be done needs to be done. No point getting angry all over again. You've bitten the bullet and now just go ahead.

If things are as bad as they have been made out, that is not going to be an option. I may have to abandon the project.
