@BD sir: Atleast some of us would be very interested in the Belgaum meet. The plan we made last year vanished into thin air. Just that it needs time to plan and prepare for some of the guys in our club. Our PP's are not tuned to your standards and dont give great mileage, so cost is a concern for a few and would need some time to accumulate cash. Many are students/youngsters who wouldnt have ready cash. Some of us also are going on a Leh expedition in Punto and Palio's this September. So best time to meet at Belgaum could be some time in October/November time frame.

If time permits, all of us would stop by some where around Pune and meet you and Illango on our way to Leh. Lets see how it goes.

I heard Fiat is selling them in CBU type costing about 23Lakhs. Hence the doubt.

Even I heard this news. They were saying that these FIAT 1100 is available for sale in Kolkata [WB]. It seems they are the Limited Edition Series

^ Yes, we and out Fiats are trying to do that little bit for a good cause. Dont know what the outcome would be, but will do it anyways.

Finally managed to get the Tail lamp for my car. Got one from the Gujri (Mubarak meters) with two spare lenses and the other one from Mr Jaykumar of FCB who had got them cast. After a lot of filing and sandpapering, drilling, threading and buffing the finish products can be seen below.
Have also managed the Indicator lenses, need to get a photo of its base so that I can fabricate it. After this the only parts I require are the lock of the boot and three hubcaps. Headlights I do not plan to change unless I get the originals.
