Isn't the Rhyno very expensive? Its the new designer one from Studds right?

I bought an LS2 yesterday for 3.5k. Great helmet and great grip around the skull. It presses my cheeks a tad bit too much. Any remedies for that?

What size did you buy? Check the size on the padding inside.

Is it tight from all the places? If yes then the padding size is smaller. Get it replaced with a bigger size.

Any pics?

Pro biking gear - need help (Bangalore)

Hey All,

Need some help here. One of my lady friends is planning an adventure biking trip and she requires complete biking gear as a pre-requisite. This includes jacket/helmet/gloves/shoes and preferably armor pads. Can anyone point to the best places in Bangalore where this stuff is available for ladies as well (Tried Cramster already but there is a waiting and ebay is all men's sizes)? Thanks in advance.

Best...

Hey... Here's a pic of the helmet.

Have not found time to get the padding size checked. It is pretty snug around the skull. In fact, I wouldn't even want to mess with it.

The cheek pads however make me look like . So, I'll see if they can be changed.

Other than this, the helmet is friggin awesome. Cancels noise very well and there is no whistling. It also lends my clanky UCE engine a bassy note

Rode 70 kms yesterday and was surprisingly not troubled by its weight.

If the cheek pads are not applying localized pressure (i.e. at a single point or line) then there is nothing wrong. The pads will shrink over the next few weeks and will feel more comfortable. Congratulations on getting such a well fit helmet!

Wow! I have the same helmet (same color & design) Check page 28 of this thread for pics of my helm.

Agree with all the comments by you. It cancels noise pretty well. And try singing with the helm on. Its a bit irritating for the ears The visor works in the night too.

It isn't at a specific point, but the whole cheek gets pushed in. I'll see if things improve, or else will get a smaller size for the cheek pads.

It sure is very well fitting. I wore my Steelbird after the 70km ride with the LS2 and it felt like a baseball cap in comparison!

Nice! I thought I had seen the helmet before when I was buying it!
I tried humming to myself at a traffic signal, it sure gets very irritating!

Next on the buying list is a mesh jacket.

Cheers!

The stock visor is horrible at night. My dealer told me that a normal tinted one was not available. Is it available in Pune?

I liked the fit and feel of the Cramster MX-3 until I saw and tried the DSG Revive gloves.

Almost similar except that the MX3 has fabric on top and the revive is all leather. Both have kevlar knuckle protection... but the revive has kevlar protection on the fingers as well where as MX-3 has only rubber protection on the finger areas (on the top side of the gloves).

My suggestion is to go for DSG revive instead of cramster mx-3. cost of the revive is Rs. 1990/-.

DSG Revive Gloves - Rs1,990.00

I will be picking up the DSG Revive gloves and a cramster jacket. Helmet not decided yet. Its either gonna be an LS2 or a Sparx or genuine AGV or equivalent. Will check it out on the weekend at the local yamaha dealer.

P.S. DSG and Alpine star is available at most Yamaha showrooms (orion motors in blore for example).
