looks like she went from left lane to right lane and into the divider pretty fast! probably loss of concentration.
She was fine although she had to be pulled out from the car probably because of the shock. Also wearing the seat belt would have saved her from injuries.
The cabbies here, on a postive note, help a lot in these cases. There was a bunch of cabs behind me, all of them whom came running and pulled her out and lifted and slid the car to the side so traffic could move.

She was already on the fast lane. My guess is she scrapped the divider and in the sudden panic would have yanked the steering even more to the right or the right wheel would have caught onto the divider and lifted the car since all the pots on the divider in that portion were smashed .

Seems Best Buses in Mumbai are becoming once dreaded Blue line Buses of Delhi...

saw the same car this morning parked near Total Mall.

Personally i dont agree to your point. I know that this is not the forum to discuss which brand is safer and as you rightly said that human bodies may not withstand the deceleration or other forces in an impact, there is a difference in the way the cars are constructed which may not nullify fatalities in an accident but will surely reduce the numbers. I think below video link shows the difference. Lets not debate at the brands as such.

My comments were specific to the accident being discussed. All of us recognize and acknowledge crash test standards - thanks for the videos.

All these are day to day happenings on the Highway.
But the Range Rover Evoque with Broken tailamps was a sight.

But the last one's a disaster.

I don't think the tail lamps are broken. I guess that's just the design. Can't really make out from the pic though.

Wonder what happened to the Safari :o

It looks like the Safari was T Boned by a truck or a bus at high speed
because the Chasis is also broken.

Although i saw it personally, you can see that the other tail lamp is not clear glass this one looks like so because the glass is missing.

Wow, looking at the Safari scares me, considering that I drive one too, what could have happened, probably flipped and hit a tree or a pole....
