Re: Interstate travel with the Covid-19 restrictions

Drove down from Tamil Nadu to Trivandrum crossing Kaliyakavalai check post. No checking on either side of the border.

No checks at MH-GJ border. The personnel sitting at the check post asked my name and contact number along with noting down my car number. That is all.

Crossed GJ-RJ yesterday. No checking of any sorts. I did not even see any personnel at the check posts.

Re: Interstate travel with the Covid-19 restrictions

Need help for flight travel. I want to travel from Goa to Pune in second week of February. Checked Indigo and govt websites. As per them only thermal screening and vaccination status is sufficient.

Can anyone taken flight on this or any other destination from Goa confirm on this?

Re: Interstate travel with the Covid-19 restrictions

So did Delhi -> Bangalore -> Delhi in the last 1 month.

Ghaziabad -> Agra -> Gwalior -> Jhansi -> Bhopal -> Nagpur -> Hyderabad -> Bangalore. No checks anywhere for RT-PCR or for Vaccination.
Travel date: 17 Dec 2021 - 21 Dec 2021

Bangalore -> Udupi -> Goa -> Pune -> Mumbai -> Vadodra -> Bhuj -> Udaipur -> Delhi -> Ghaziabad.
Double vaccination was checked while entering Goa from Karwar.
RT PCR was checked when entering Anmod ghats from Goa. I was not carrying one. My destination was Pune and hence was let go. No other checks for RT PCR or vaccination was conducted.
Travel Date: 13 Jan 2022 - 28 Jan 2022

Entry to Kerala at Walayar will not be allowed during the weekend curfew (presently only on Sundays) says Asianet news.

The article is in Malayalam though. could not find an English version.

Re: Interstate travel with the Covid-19 restrictions

Kolkata - Gurgaon update:
1. Was asked to do RTPCR in Jharkhand Border. Explained we would not stay and just pass through - was let go.
2. Was pulled up for mask in HR inside car with windows closed.

Re: Interstate travel with the Covid-19 restrictions

No checks for entering Kerala through the Chinnar Marayur border. There is Covid post on TN side while returning through same route. They only asked you are double vaccinated and noted the mobile number

Re: Interstate travel with the Covid-19 restrictions

Hello Friends

Please advise on Goa travel. Will be flying on 15th Feb. Is double vaccination enough or RTPCR required also?
TIA

Does travel to Tamil Nadu still require epass? Google search only shows 2021 requirements of epass.

No not required. Travelled to Chennai and Tirupathur last week from Banglore and there was no checking of any sorts.

Re: Interstate travel with the Covid-19 restrictions

As I read in the newspaper today, there is no requirement for RT-PCR for people coming into Karnataka from Maharashtra . Though for Goa and Kerala it is still required.

This is effective from Friday, 11th Feb.

Kudos to one state government for at least notifying the removal of restrictions officially (even though most of these the restrictions have only been on paper for months now anyway!) The problem is that all state governments have been quick to officially impose and publicize restrictions but have rarely de-notified and publicized that. Which keep things unclear and gives any local authority the continued opportunity to harass the public and make a quick buck.

Hope all states follow the same example when lifting these useless and un-scientific restrictions!

Not just the notification, they still have barricades at state and district borders on the Bangalore Chennai route. On top of it, saw a couple of cops sitting there and shooting the breeze.

Negative RT-PCR report no longer needed to enter Karnataka from Kerala and Goa (Source: NYOOZ)

Quote:
"Passengers coming to Karnataka from Kerala and Goa, through all modes of transportation, no longer need a negative RTPCR report," Karnataka Health Minister Dr K Sudhakar tweeted. He added that this waiver was given to passengers from Maharashtra last week. However, vaccine certificate is mandatory for the passengers coming from these states, the minister said.
