If the BLR - DEL flight is on time, the time should suffice. Since both flights are with the same airline (AI as you've mentioned) and if on one PNR, AI will try their best to get you on that flight.

2.Can we check-in the luggage at Bangalore airport?
If BLR - DEL - Kathmandu is on one PNR, you can check-in at Bangalore.

3.Any tips and tricks to follow in Delhi Airport?
Given that it is AI, both your flights should be at T3, but just confirm.

Libranof1987 has already provided precise answers.

Just to add.

If flights to Kathmandu don't go through Indian immigration, you should be good with a 2 hour layover.

On luggage, unless you booked the two legs of this journey separately, Air India will by default check-in your baggage at Bangalore and give it back in Kathmandu. I have heard weird things about Kathmandu airport around thefts and all, so avoid having any valuables (cash, jewelry, etc.) on booked baggage.

Lastly, Terminal 3 of Delhi airport is huge and you might end up walking a lot. It helps to have hand-baggage items which are light and portable.

Re: The "Airport Transfer" Thread

Just an update post the travel - Unlike Delhi, Mumbai does not have a separate immigration counter and an easy bypass for passengers transiting via the airport. You have to get all the way to exit point and just before getting out take the lift to departure lounge and join the regular departure lanes. A interesting observation in Mumbai is that security happens first before immigration. This is different from Delhi or Bangalore where it’s the other way round.

Re: The "Airport Transfer" Thread

I am flying to Pune tomorrow on a business trip. I am staying at a hotel located at Hinjewadi. I need to take a taxi from the airport. My query is, do we have airport taxi options like how we have in Bangalore? Or, I need to rely on Under/Ola?

There are airport taxis/autos but they're generally more expensive than Uber/Ola.

You exit the terminal -> walk within the airport premises (but outside the airport building) -> you'll see a ramp with boards mentioning Uber/Ola pick-up -> climb up and through the bridge, get into the Aero Mall -> find the Uber/Ola cab. Both have separate parking bays.

A tip: pre-book your cab through the Reserve feature on either Uber/Ola. This way, your waiting time for a cab will be minimal/0.

Re: The "Airport Transfer" Thread

I have BLR-DEL-DOH flight with 3 and half hour in T3 Delhi.

Can someone kindly confirm if
1. I should take the domestic terminal in BLR
2. Immigration happens in DEL
3. Same PNR, hence through check-in happens from BLR to DOH

Answer to all three is Yes, must add you haven't specified the airline though that should not change the situation.

Re: The "Airport Transfer" Thread

A little bit of a twist question that needs your help.

I reach Mumbai Airport at noon on Saturday, have 2 hours to get out and reach CSMT railway station to catch a train for onward journey. Can someone please tell me the quickest and safest way to do that?
