The workflow has been changed. Accommodation booking will be opened later, we need to keep checking the same e-seva website. Accommodation booking will be allowed only for those with darshan booking.

+1 Indeed the flow has changed.
Accommodation quota is not released for March. Keep checking the updates daily.

For now, if you want to check on Accommodation, after login with mobile no. and OTP, use Transaction History option and there you will find an option "Book Accommodation" which will give you calendar date wise accommodation details.

Adding to this, its mandatory one needs to book accommodation at Tirumala 1 day in advance wrt to the darshan date.

Ex: srvm has darshan tickets for March 15th, the room needs to be booked from March 14th with suitable check in time.

Not necessarily. Depends on what time darshan is and when you reach Tirumala.

We went directly to darshan and checked in later, as we had lot of time before check-in slot (We booked a room in Srinivasam, Tirupathi. Fresh up and went directly for Darshan)

The above rule which I mentioned does not apply to accomodation complexes at Tirupathi or Srinivasam Complex, it applies to the ones at Tirumala.

I had booked accommodation at Srinivasam too on the date of my darshan. While I tired booking at Tirumala, by default it showed me a date before darshan.

I meant to say in Tirumala only. We can book accommodation on the same day of darshan or previous day depending on the availability. We checked in for accommodation in Tirumala after our darshan.

If I remember correctly, Tirumala accommodation can be booked for a day, starting one day prior to darshan date, or starting on darshan date.

Got a ticket for darshan on 27th. This time, booking experience was so pathetic that TTD had to add splash screens to stop the booking. System started complaining "the requested resource is not available". They had it once for 11:00 AM. opened the queue and ran into issues with the Payments page. Had a splash page again with a sorry message until 12:00 PM. Finally got the ticket around 12:05.

TTD switched from the TCS developed site to the Jio hosted one and this is even more pathetic.

Then it was probably not a new batch of tickets released at noon, but just a continuation of the 9 AM batch because of the system errors.

There have been news reports recently that TTD is set to increase the darshan quotas to pre-covid levels.

15 mins into the booking, the system went kaput. They had to forcibly bring the system down twice. TTD opened the quota at pre-covid levels at the opening itself. This is the first time at 6:00 PM, I'm seeing the tickets still available for couple of days for the March Month

I liked the old website than the current n(new) Jio one, earlier you could create a profile and list of users but now its not the case... 1 step forward and 2 steps backward when it comes to ease of use with the provision to book accommodation now getting delinked with the ticket reservation process.
I can don the architect hat and argue but TTD with its resources can definitely do better than this.

That's unfortunate, I don't think package tours offers the flexibility for you to get your daughter's head tonsure, heck they don't even allow you to have anna prasadam, they just want to pick up and drop ASAP and get done with the day.

I think you will have to try to book tickets for April. In general, try to visit the TTD website after 20th of the month, they will have the dates announced.

There is one option, but it will be too hectic. TTD is offering free darshanam tickets, 10,000 per day for direct visitors, last week I heard those with a free darshan ticket procured directly had a wait time of 4 days, it does not make sense for you to try this.

+1, Sarva Darshan tickets are released on daily basis and is having a wait time for 3-4 days.

Wait for April month tickets else, there is another alternate route, through Donor darshan. There are few privilege's for Donors based on the amount donated. Try it if you cannot wait for April.
