The Verna was not in the market when this poll was started.

BTW, it would not be a bad idea to start a new shootout thread for the C-segment - with the Verna in the pic, I am sure, opinions would have changed from what they were 6 months ago.

guys...... My dad and me are huuge Ferrari fans and when we had a black Corsa, we bought a Ferrari sticker and it looked real neat on the balck bonnet...

When that sticker got faded and started peeling off, we again bought another one.

When we got the Honda, we continued the tradition

Honda City......for.....spacious interiors, good FE, smooth to drive (in city), good resale value....basically a car that appeals to the mind.

why is the verna not in the polls which is all set to fly high in the segment with smart features and great power.there miight be a lot of people wanting to vote for it.

Any day i will choose a honda city

nothing come close to a honda the shear pleasure of driving a honda is miles ahead of anything and the build quality and quality of the interior no word to describe it.

I am sure you havent driven the Fiesta 1.6 or Verna CRDI yet.

Aveo 1.6 and NHC (non VTEC version) are not performance cars but somehow NHC wins bcoz of the HONDA badge.

Aveo 1.4 is a brilliant VFM package and as you all may have observed that its really picked up in recent times.

I would rather add here that

- if pure performance and fun to drive is the ccriteria i would go for Fiesta 1.6
- in 1.4 it gotta be Aveo
- if resale is the only criteria then i would go for NHC.

No doubt, OHC still rules amongst all these cars but unfortunately its been burried

Just to be fair to Aveo and since i am convinced and satisfied with my purchase of Aveo 1.4 i have voted for Aveo 1.6 as the poll does not segregate car's variants.

I do not like the shape and build of NHC, I love Baleno's performance, but not its build. Between Aveo and Fiesta its going to be a toss up. Out of Fiesta and Aveo may be fiesta.

True. But never get carried away with a non-ABS model. The rear comes forward and swerves the car upon hard braking. The wheels lock up easily and the car sways when you are steering and on the brake. Have experienced this.
