The sun roof, if provided should be a real eye catcher but that should jack up the price of the car further. The EX version in the US has the sun roof / moon roof and its the top end variant of the Civic.

I hope Honda will also launch a base model which lacks foglamps & leatherseats but Does have Orvm Indicators & Avail in new colours , Increase of 70k not worth for just Leather seats which costs 35k for Stanley & foglamps which costs 10k .

@Androdev,
the leather is going to be like the ones on the Accord and CR-V according to Arya Honda, so definitely of good quality.
@Rdas45 - trust me bro, the Type 1 Accord is definitely better than the Type 2. It has the looks, the space, quality (as in reliability), the ride and handling set up which the new accords just can't match.

70K, is quite an ok sum considering that the Accessories list i got at the Honda Dealership quoted 75K only for leather seats.
But this takes into account the door panels too.

Check out this: Honda 06/07 Exterior Colors
Carbon Bronze Pearl looks slightly different from Galaxy grey in this list.

The updated edition would feature leather seats, front fog lamps and turn indicators integrated into outside rear-view mirrors. Honda also plans to offer two new colors on this new variant: Mystic Violet and Carbon Bronze Pearl.
Market sources say that this new enhanced model is expected to cost around Rs. 70,000 more than the existing models.
Bad updates in my opinion...
The Stock leather is of very cheap quality - you can get it for < 30k from Stanley. It's not the fine soft napa leather - none of the Indian cars get that.

Fog lamps & Turn indicator you can get aftermarket for <14 k!

They should have added a better trip computer, xenons.

What no Lumbar Support? Even Tavera has it.

What about Audio Controls on steering wheel? Even cars a segment lower like SX4 has it, Honda is surely taking us for a ride on their Shine.

Thanks Friend.
Finally, someone is sharing my concern...I WANT lumbar support. And I WANT it from Honda.

The press release on Hondacarindia says the new V series launched yesterday has enhancements and features as per customer feedback.

So I am sad no exisitng Civic owner has asked for lumbar support!
