As mobike008 already stated, quite a few TBHPians from Hyderabad will attending the show. We intend to reach the night before the show i.e. Saturday 29 Oct 2011.

How about having a TBHP Meet either Saturday evening or Sunday morning before the show?

For all those making it for the concert from outside Bangalore be prepared for a treat at the venue (if you have attended any of the earlier concerts I am sure you would have got a flavour). We have been waiting for Metallica to come for almost 10 years and each there is a roumour that Metallica will be performing.

Not just the concert venue but there will tons of cars with some great ICE blasting Metal and thats a treat in itself.

Mosh pits, insane amounts of noise, great music and the best part of it METALLICA.

Dont know the point of this post but I just got very excited .

^^ Awesome! I agree- these "Metallica is coming" rumours have surfaced every year since I think 1999.

Quick clarification: are we allowed to carry simple cameras (non-mobile phone) into the venue? I am planning to capture the entire roadtrip (and post a travelogue, obviously ) and it would suck if I were asked to deposit it somewhere at the actual concert!

I have seen people carrying cameras but not sure if they were allowed or if they smuggled it in since I have never taken one. If it is slim enough I am sure you can get it in without the security guards finding out in case they dont allow it. I guess you will find out when the ticket comes home - it should have all the do's and donts on it.

It really helps if you have a good mobile camera. If I manage some good pics I could send them to you as my mobile camera is pretty good and I have been itching to use it

BTW I checked and cameras are NOT allowed at the venue. Cellphone cams are fine, though. I wouldn't advise trying to smuggle in a camera either- imagine if they boot you from the venue- how sad would THAT be?

Buncha us are taking off from Pune on Thursday or Friday and meandering our way into Bangalore by Saturday. There is apparently a pre-Metallica gig on the 29th with Bangalore's biggest bands performing, at Kyra. Be there with bells on!

Well now that you asked, I was linked to them on "The Same Thinking Plane Level" till the time they announced the prices. Imagine they are asking Rs.5,150 for a return bus ticket between Hyderabad - Bangalore when the same is available anywhere between 1600-2000. This was the moment I disowned them for their utter stupidity and told that they can go to "hell"
