Metallica in Bangalore - 30 Oct 2011: Possible TBHP Meet

Meeting at the venue doesn't seem like a good idea. We will be totally focused on the show and with our own groups of friends as well. I think we can meet up at Kyra for the Riff 'em all show the previous night (whoever is attending that). Monaro and self are confirmed for that (though we will have non-BHP folks with us as well!)

Acco is also confirmed now for me. Not planning to drive to the venue either, will cab or rick it up.

Got my ticket today!

Will probably be the only rap music fan at the concert but how can I miss Metallica!

Are the tickets available off the shelf from any outlets yet? I could ask any of my friends in Bangalore to pick one for me.
The ticketgenie site gives a list of store, but it says "BOOK YOUR TICKETS through the following outlets"

Does anyone have any further info on this?

Hey Jayded,

I saw a post on this very thread by Mobike008, a moderator, just a few days back that he has extra ticket(s) [http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/shifti...l#post2549731].

Why not PM him and block the same and you can always meet him before the show at Blr and exchange the ticket and cash with him?

I checked the weather forecast for Bangalore at weather dot com and this is the result :

Yeah, I saw that. He said 1 additional ticket. My problem is I'm still not sure if any of my friends would be joining me, hence there is a chance that I would need more than one ticket. So might need to buy 1-2 additional tickets anyways. Will finalize in a couple of days time. Just wanted to know if tickets were available at the stores, just to be sure. Cheers!

1 additional with Mobike008 and 1 additional with Milecruncher makes it 2 tickets available.

That's what me and my mates were contemplating over the last week.

On accuweather website, 30th of October is shown as a Thunderstorm day!
Plus the entire weekend in Bangalore looks wet. For people visiting from other states (includes us), we'll have to be prepared - weather wise.

On a different note: one of my mates is a Metclub member.
Guess what!?! He's got an invite for the 'Metallica - meet and greet party' + a backstage pass!
Now he's got a (big) chance to meet James, Lars & Kirk!

Lucky bugger, him !
