You are right about the KFC in Bangalore....the joint sucks, I felt like I had walked into an Irani restaurant, & the chicken was pathetic. I had Popeye's in NYC & KFC regularly & trust me, what they serve in Bangalore is nothing close to it. They have degraded the KFC brand...BIGTIME !!!

Stood in a 45min queue today to eat at the Newly opened Mumbai KFC Must say -Coleslaw was awesome! Zinger was Awesome

Chicken was horrendous..
And i wasnt the only one.. most guys there were complaining about the chicken being really pathetic compared to abroad standards.

I think even the Pune Fried Chicken tasted different from what was being served here

definately agree...chicken was very disappointing...only tht salsa sauce was the saving grace......

A tandori chicken.....is 100000000 times better than any KFC chics !!

Ive heard the spicy chicken isnt that bad though...

25th April was the date when it all started. And after a wait for 39 days due to various reason. Like The same old – No Time, Nobody to accompany me to the chicken land.

One fine day I received a call from Vishal asking me to go to KFC. And I was all drooly drooly all over again.

With all that energy and enthu I finally made it to the KFC doors on 3rd of June 2006 ahhh word that came out of my mouth once I was inside were “ Ahhhh Finally the wait has paid up ”
Vishal (turbo_V12) and bhargavi(Babe_on_wheels) stands witness for that. Orderd a hot and crispy (4 piece) and a Zinger burger. I was eating and eating ,nice feeling. Would have loved the food a bit more hot and spicy. And a bottle of tobesco would have made my day.

All in all a great time spent with great company and all that was followed by couple of rounds of beers (Thanks to Vishal)

Ahh feels so good now to see myself saying atlast that

I HAD MY SHARE OF CHICKEN.

P.S – Zappo dude once again great detailing on foods. Man hatts off.

Can someone list all the KFC outlets in mumbai
i know 2

1) behind hiako mall, hiranandani powai
2) linking road bandra

I have heard one has opened in vashi as well??

P.S. i am feeling so hungry need a zinger right away

The one in chennai has a beautiful view of the sea. It is located at Citi Centre, R.K. Salai.

This outlet is in the Oberoi Mall at Goregaon East, on the highway

KFC is more of a hype, anybody who is health concious would avoid anything fried!
I did not even like the flavours of the chicken they serve, let alone the frequent news about injecting Hormones to boost Chicken size!

No KFC,Mcdonalds in Kochin.Only subway and pizzahut.
There are lot of unknown fried chicken shops though

Chicking is there.

I remember the one at Ascendas IT park where nitrous took me on my last trip to Chennai. that food court is paradise for a foodie like me.

KFC Yuck!

That cholesterol laden oil dipped cover (made from eggs?) and the chicken beneath wet like its been socked in water before serving.

I prefer Tandoori anyday!

, i never liked anything in KFC. I found it too bland for my palate

AND @ Oberoi Mall , Dindoshi / Goregaon Highway.

I am a food person and do like KFC as much as the regular tandoori , I & a friend usually go there and have a large bucket , coleslaw, maybe even an order of wings (yes it shows on too

)

One go at it and I am not re-entering their premises. Not at all something a foodie will love. Nothing like Tandoori Chicken at all.
