This is the worst news I have woken up to.
Why does it always happen to the 'good' people? He had so much more to do and share.
Lets all pray for his family to have the strength and for him to RIP.
It was with disbelief that I greeted the news this afternoon. I was fortunate to meet the Yeti twice and lucky to chat with him over a quick snack.
Two things always struck me about Sam both on-line and off. The first was his wisdom and humour. The second was a certain directness that was almost childlike in its forthrightness and simplicity.
R.I.P Sam. You will be missed.
I request those who will meet the family to convey my deepest condolences to Sam's family.

This will probably be the saddest thing one will ever get to read on TBHP. My heart goes out to those who were loved by him, I can only imagine the darkness in their lives considering the amount of joy he brought to those who just read his posts on this forum.
His combination of wit and humor reminded me of my favorite author Terry Pratchett and when I told him that he was his modest self, telling me that it was too high a praise for him.
Rest in peace The YetiŽ. The heavens will be a far funnier place than before.

This is shocking! My condolences with his family, I hope Jenny and Sam’s father recover from their injuries soon. However this is a terrible loss for them as well as Team-BHP.
