Re: R.I.P Guderian!

Is this all madness ? Possibly, yes. Obsession ? Possibly, yes. Passion ? Definitely !
( His own words, that of a true blue passionate T-Bhpian )

We will miss you, deeply.

Re: R.I.P Guderian!

IIRC Harish sir came online just about the time Sam Kapasi had passed away. His wit and style of writing somehow compensated for Sam's absence from the forum. Though I didn't know both of them personally, did interact with them over PM and they never failed to reply to a PM or email. Both were based in Mumbai and were very similar in certain manner. They believed in giving back to the world in written words, and that was very fascinating. Both men with very large hearts. You guys rock.

Re: R.I.P Guderian!

Hi,

This is my first post on Team-BHP, and I would like to Thank Guderian for his ownership thread on Fortuner.
His comparison between Santa fe and Fortuner really made up my mind in buying the Fortuner. Unfortunately I couldn't say 'Thank you' for that.

You will always be remembered. RIP Sir.

Re: R.I.P Guderian!

Man I am totally shocked to chance upon this thread.

I met Guderian only once at the combined Mumbai Pune Team BHP Mega Meet. He was full of life, passionate, opinionated, and witty, and can a way with words on his Fortuner magnum opus.

RIP buddy. Fair winds and winding roads. You wil be missed in the community.

Re: R.I.P Guderian!

Though I never met him, spoke to him or had any sort of communication with him, I felt a a connection with this man who, with his writing prowess, connected with so many of us. I enjoyed his writing to such an extent that I envied him for it.

In moments of sadness, when just about everything disagrees with you, I often found myself turn to his posts to lift me up. And they did their job!!

Almost every time I read his posts I thought that I must meet this man, and that was the plan. But alas!! And that will have to remain an unfulfilled plan now.

I thought I should start my journey on this site, with my first post dedicated to this man. So, wishing his family all the condolences and him the rest in peace!!

Re: R.I.P Guderian!

I am really sorry to hear this.
His posts were first class.
His knowledge of history, especially around WW2 was fantastic as was his interest in that period.
Rest In Peace.
