Re: R.I.P Guderian!

Never got a chance to interact with him, but I have always believed that the way a person writes tells a lot of things about the personality and character of the person. He wrote beautifully. Witty, classy and full of humour.

Goodbye to a true gentleman. You will be missed. :(

Re: R.I.P Guderian!

Very shocking and sad ! Cannot believe he is no more. A flashback from 2007 - His ownership thread for the Scorpio CRDe @ 100,000 kms:

http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/long-t...-pg-6-a-7.html

His Fortuner thread was quite lively, objective, sometimes controversial but always enjoyable.

We at Teambhp are saddened, as he has got his untimely call from there above at this young age.

May God give enough solace and courage to his near and dear ones to bear up with the irrepairable and untimely loss.

Re: R.I.P Guderian!

Guderian was the reason I went into buying the 2012 4x4 Fortuner having the 4x2 option in place. HG was the founder of T-FOG group and was a very great admin there too. I doubt there will be any more additions in that group ever, him being the only admin there.

He told me quite many times not to call him HG 'Sir' as it made him feel like an uncleji. But then that 'Sir' used to come out of utmost respect.

Proud to have had our Fortuners serviced once together - Guess that was my 30K and his 45K. We eyed and envied the facelifted Prado together while our beasts were being serviced. Then we laughed that there was nothing that our Fortuners can't do that a Prado can. Then our heads sank in this nonsense and we went off not giving a look back to Granddad Prado (Double Wishbone / 4-Link with Air Spring Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System [ KDSS ] Adaptive Variable Suspension [ Comfort, Normal, Sport Modes ] with Rear Air Suspension, blah blah blah...
Miss you buddy - and that coconut chutney at your place was really mindblowing

Here are a few memoirs left of him with me...

RIP HG Sir - No words can justify the sorrow we all are in right now...

Shocking & sad.

We needed more people like him, on & off the forum. His helpful attitude reflected his personality.

A big loss. RIP.

Re: R.I.P Guderian!

This is shocking. I have huge respect for him and this was all about his Fortuner thread. This guy was a true army guy who can get his hands dirty when required and would NOT mind it!!

R.I.P Sir!!

Re: R.I.P Guderian!

Shocking news! I couldn't believe it when i saw HVK's update on the Scorpio yahoogroups, as well as when i got the news from the other mods.

Harry had a charm and a sense of humor which was infectious. His long term Scorpio as well as Fortuner threads reflected his personality, one of joy and someone who enjoyed the lighter side of life. His decreased activity on the forum as well as Yahoogroups over the last few months was noticeable, but we didn't know the reason behind it. Now, we are met with this sad news.

RIP Guderian.
