Without a doubt.
Fanboy alert.

This one’s the pre facelift version though. Interestingly haven’t seen any of the post 2018 versions as a scale model.

This looks really good. The price is definitely more than what I’d spend at this point, as much as i love the car. Hopefully some folks in China decide to make one of these in an acceptable scale and quality and it would surely make its way to my collection. Till then, I’ll sit back, admire and appreciate - the scale model and the real car.

Re: The Scale Model Thread

This car has been a particular favourite ever since I saw the original Italian Job. The beautiful haunting song ‘On Days like these’ by Matt Monro plays in my head whenever I think of the Lambo Miura coursing along the St Bernard Pass in the Italian Alps. The roar of the racing changes and double-de clutching down-shifts. What a sound!
And the ultimate destruction of that gorgeous car by the Bulldozer in the tunnel. Sad.

And I do have several examples of that car in multiple scales. But that doesnt matter. My madness for this car is Supreme. Little wonder then that I saw this 1:64 HotWheels example in lovely Orange and grabbed it off Amazon.

Re: The Scale Model Thread

Hi guys, I'm in need of a little help here. I have had a small collection of scale models from my childhood. Now I'm starting to expand the collection and organize the existing ones as well. For now I'm looking at 1:64 scale. After a thorough search on the internet I found an interesting display case for 1:64 cars, picture attached below.

This is available on aliexpress at a reasonable price. It is available on Shopee too but slightly more expensive. But the issue is, both of them are not shipping to India now. Does anyone know where or how I can find these in India? Available on ebay too but it's quite expensive. Any help would be appreciated.

Here is how it fits on the Defender shelf. Running out of room, but, can squeeze in a few more I guess!

It certainly looks like. Ive got an exact same dark green one with a geared 4WD bought in some Big Bazaar shop 14 years ago. And its brother in Silver bought in Sapphire toys Bangalore around 10 years ago. And surprisingly its other brother in White, bought in Land Rover Al Tayer Motors in Dubai 7 years ago.

Spot on

I am now in half a mind to color the roof and alloys black.

Let’s see if I manage to do it without ruining it!

I modded the wheels on my Skyline R34 from silver to black, as seen here:

Whooa!!!
What is that? Such a huge sized Defender with all the bolts and joints visible. Looks to be a Marvel Transformer like model. I have fell in love instantly.
Could you let me know where from to get it?

It’s a Lego Technic set

Checkout this post (Lego Technic) by Axe77 on the Technic thread

While on the topic of Legos and Defenders, Lego has also released this now.
