Hey guys,
I'm new here. I can't help but notice that there's no separate thread for RC airplanes/Heli. I'm on my way to buying my very first nitro airplane (almost there, can hardly wait!) and am facing a few road blacks. Any RC airplane BHPians out here? I think having a separate thread would surely help budding enthusiasts/newbies (case in point:me)

Radio Controlled Cars: Where to Buy? What to buy?

Hey, I a have been searching the net for R/C cars and want one now so bad. Looked all over but I coudnt find a dealer or place from where I can actually buy HPI or Traxxas Cars(as these two are quality providers).
I am a novice and thus have decided to go for an HPI Electric Firestorm Flux. Do let me know your take on which car to buy and from where?
Also the approximate pricing would help, I see the HPI Flux to be around 300$ in the US so can i expect it to be near 15k INR ?

Try out this site:
RCSKY Hobby

Mostly glow engine types but they have a couple of electric as well.

Get electric if you want low maintenance part time fun. Gas engined ones are usually lot faster and more fun, but will require regular maintenance. Get gas if you plan on turning this into a hobby.

They are usually quite fast resulting in you doing some stupid stunts and breaking stuff. Depending on what you break, maintenance can be expensive.

Best of luck and have fun.
