That’s a fabulous looking chair and I am guessing it must be as comfortable as it looks. Please elaborate on the adjustments and comfort.

Can you also share the brand and model name of the chair and where you bought it from.

Thank you.

Cheers

Re: Working from home? Show us your home office

Nice thread. Here is my home (standing) workstation. I use the couch when I want to sit and work.

My WFH set up. Nothing fancy - My laptop, headphones, and printer. Has a 350 Mbps Hathaway broadband connection with a 40 mbps Airtel connection as a back up.

Thank you Cyborg. It's called Green Soul Monster Series Gaming chair. I bought it on Amazon. It has all adjustments that office chairs have.
Unfortunately it's not as comfortable as it looks. There are two major issues with it
1. The seats are too soft. That hurts my butt over long hours.
2. There is side bolstering for the thighs like car seats. But that makes the seat narrow. So manspreading makes my thighs hurt.

I'd recommend you buy the chair in Jeroen's post instead. I have it in office and it's very comfortable over long hours. It's called Markus and I bought that from Ikea and added a car neckrest to it.

There is one review for it too, do you concur? It’s for 14k on the Ikea India site. Hope there is no assembly involved on purchase from these sites.

Thanks once again.

Cheers

Re: Working from home? Show us your home office

What a wonderful thread! Always had a thing for seeing other people's home office.

Since I have never been able to keep down a proper job for long and earn a decent living in the classical sense, for me home office is not just a home office but also my only office. Nothing beats the feeling of waking up every morning and making the 18 second commute from the bed room to the workplace, with the occasional traffic jam of my cat blocking the way.

The battlefield:

The ammunition depot:
P.S - The distinguished gent in the portrait is my grandfather. Being a lone fighter can get.. well lonely some times, so he keeps me company

Also, let's see who finds the hand sanitizer first in this pic.

Distinguished company:
Ahem! ladies and gentlemen may i present Mr. Juan Manuel Fangio

Inspection table:
The ol' CRT is there due to purely sentimental reasons. Also seen are my beloved tools of the trade, Mitutoyo 300 mm Digimatic Caliper (NABL calibrated) and its compatriot Data Logger. The VW bag is serving duty as the parts bin for my W202 C200 DIESEL undergoing a mild restoration at the moment.

See something you like?

Does this help?:

And in case you are wondering by now, yes! i do sit
and yes that is an iPad1 you see in the photo. How else could i afford the Mitutoyo lovelies

Let's call it a day.
My office also doubles up as my den, this is where i sit to catch up on my reading.

Hope you liked the tour of my humble abode. Do drop in for a cuppa or to just to say hi! sometime.

Yes. That one. I concur with the review. You can assemble it easily yourself. I quite enjoyed using my hands to work for a change. Otherwise you can hire Urban clap to do it.

Here’s my simple setup. It includes 2018 MBP and Steelseries Arctis headphones.

I don’t enjoy working from home much ( am a out and out people’s person).

Re: Working from home? Show us your home office

This was setup yesterday. I need to a get a low height table over the weekend. But I am not going in for a table and chair setup.

The dual monitor is super useful during collaboration or doing lookup. The vertical monitor is apt for coding and even browsing. Team-Bhp renders pretty well with a vertically aligned monitor.

This ergonomic keyboard allows you to work the whole day without any fatigue in the wrist.

This is what I use if I am on my laptop.

My office workspace has an electronic height adjustable table and a comfy chair but productivity as well alertness is best when I stand and work .

Re: Working from home? Show us your home office

Very nice thread! One can get many intuitive ideas to makeover his workplace at home.

Mine is simple setup. That 10+ year old iMac is the saviour in these situation. Luckily have one extra room with a balcony, sunshine and fresh air is the bonus.

Time to overcome vitamin D deficiency (side effect of sitting inside office entire day).

Is there a reason? How long can you stand and work?

Also, welcome to Tbhp from Hyd.
