Best site for legal MP3 downloads?

Lovely, @ 320 KBPS the quality is very good. I would have preferred a FLAC format (Lossless) as well, but for now this is good enough.

They seem to be having a pretty good collection from very old songs which are difficult to find in Audio CD, for example Seema (1955)/(1971) etc.

Flipkart MP3

Don't click download buttons very fast, one after another.

Wait for the downloading to start for song 1, before clicking on download for song 2.

I just bought an album with 20 tracks.

A song can be downloaded 4 times.
The download tool did not work.

So I clicked on download for song 1, then song 2....all the way till song 20.
Only 4 songs got downloaded but the counter for around 17 songs decremented by 1.

Repeated the process slowly, waiting for a song to start downloading before clicking on download for the next song.
No issues when I did this.

@bblost: The good thing about Flyte Music (Flipkart MP3) is that the songs are DRM free and I also bought an album and Flyte downloader worked quiet well for me. The new tracks are 320 KBPS but old tracks are around 128 KBPS so better check that before you buy and also while downloading on the Flyte downloader make sure you choose 320KBPS from the dropdown menu or the default setting is for 128KBPS.

Itunes music now available in India! Most of the new pop / hip-hop / electronic stuff is there @ 12 - 15 bucks a song. Best part is, itunes downloads are DRM free.

Not a fan of iTunes (app) or Apple - do you need to have iTunes installed to be able to purchase songs?

all the lumia owners and majorily nokia phones get free unlimited nokia music for 1 year which is very good. Only if you have nokia phone and songs are DRM free. Another site is Hungama.com, even airtel is selling songs now http://www.airtel.in/airtellive/music

Tried using itunes to get some rare tracks. but while i can access and browse the store via itunes, i am unable to login using my apple id. keeps asking me to check my network connection. what could be wrong?

and do you get lossless songs there?

Friends, currently there is a great opportunity to download a collection of MP3s legally. Flipkart's online music store is hitting one year on 28th February and they are offering 100 albums free on everyday. Check this page

I have already downloaded a no of music tracks and adding more.

Or only some albums are available on a day and they give close to 10 albums on an average each day?
