There is the small place (forgot the name, may be dhaba) run by punjabis on the same road as crossword in T.Nagar. The best punjabi food I have tasted till date. Must try.

There is (was?) a mobile joint (vandi kaddai) selling Nai Podi Dosais, Idly, Vada etc in front of Brilliant Tutrorials in TNagar. which used to be a great place to eat... and a boon for veggies. Would like to know if they are still around?

there is a good 'kai enthi bhavan' near pondy bazaar, in front of brilliant tutorials, it is a veg fast food and they give excellent food. you should taste their 'nei podi thosai'

there is another restaurant for north indian food, near nadigar sangam called 'aashriwad' good taste ...

went to have lunch at ponnusamy today and i had a big fight, reason is ' i ordered for chicken briyani but got mutton briyani, asked the waiter to change and he also obliged, but it looks like they have removed mutton pieces and put chicken in the same briyani, when i asked the manager he said that it happens at times , when they run out, they would do a interchange of briyani, finally we said no payment for the briyani and came out.

ps: sorry to all the Veg bhp-ians for this non-veg stuff
