wanted to.

But here in mumbai all the good theaters are far and the nearest one is charging too much for a small auditorium with around 50 seats.

If any one gets to see it please tell me your reviews as I am a fan of Vinay Pathak acting

Dasvidania

AWESOME.

I simply loved this Movie.

A 37 year old unmarried guy living with his TV addict mother suddenly finds out that he is going to die in less than 3 months.
There is no boring introspection, preaching or anything of that sort.

He sits down to setting his affairs in order. That includes getting the geyser repaired. Then he gets it. That is not important. What is really important is that he do all those things that he has wanted to do.
He does just that.
A foreign trip, a new car and so on.

Loved the honesty of the guy. Buys a car on a loan for 3 months.
This scene for me held a lot of impact. Here is a guy who will die in 3 months. But goes ahead with his dream of buying a new car in such a way that it shall be fully paid before he dies.

The song Mamma. I cannot say anything about that experience. It hits the cord and tightens your throat.

MUST WATCH.

Not one part of the movie is out of place or unwanted.
No begging for viewers sympathy or pity.

Maybe you should watch the movie which inspired this, called 'The Bucket List', starring Morgan Freeman. Worth a watch.

Have watched both, and only the concept of making a list is similar, that is all, the movies are way different. I liked dasvidaniya more for its emotional content.

It is brilliantly conceptualised movie. Not the one to be missed. A simple story told very effectively, and the best part being 'you feel good' once you're through. Had this movie released sometime next week after all the 'biggies', it would've surely done tremendously well.

Yuvvraaj:
Saw the special screening last night. Beautiful movie, although a little slow. Some might love it, some might hate it. It cannot be considered a 'classic' like the previous Ghai movies, but it deserves to be in the league of Taal. Wont be a blockbuster, but a hit for sure.

Salman is the life of the movie. His attitude rocks. Anil is good in a role which suits him to the core. Zayed is his usual 'snob short-tempered' self. He's played these kind of roles so often. And finally, Katrina is a Goddess. This is her best performance till date, and she looks gorgeous to the core. Watch her introductory sequence and you'll know.
As far as the music is concerned, nothing comes close to AR Rahman. The background score is awesome as well.

Overall: 3.5/5.

Off late I am scared of Subhash Ghai movies thanks to Krishna & somewhat Yaadein.

The review by X looks promising I hope Ghai is back at doing what he is best at
