I believe so. I've been to the one in Bannerghatta road earlier and the food was pretty good. And yes, agree on the space issue.

Thanks for the tip. I try to stay near Sarjapur area as battling my way into Austin town for a quick bite will happen only when we have flying cars (and even then, there will be mid-air traffic jams)

A place to avoid: Spices in Sarjapur road near the Bata Showroom. We ordered food from there twice and both times we got tummy upset. Not sure if anyone else had the same experience.

One more to the list:

Punjaabi Times on ORR above Evok furniture store and just before Ravindu Toyota.

Have been there twice and food is really good. Service is improving but not great. They are still a bit slow in taking orders and getting the food.

Definitely worth it for the Sev Aloo Makkai Tikki and Palak papdi. Best north indian food I've had this side of town for veggies.

I dont know about the service as I had gone there a month or two ago, but let me tell you his starters are brilliant. I really enjoyed the food and the guy who owns it really made us feel at home. Great food and a must go for people who enjoy Indian Punjabi food.

And yes, I tried those two starters as well and really liked them. BTW, the non veg is great as well.

I had been to this place called Al Noor @ Neil Armstrong road for dinner on Wednesday Evening and ordered the following (Silverwood+3)

1, Afgani Roasted Alfam
2, Anarkali Roasted Alfam
3, Irani Roasted Alfam
4, Chicken Shaslik
5, Rumali Roti (4 No's) &
6, Soft Drinks

Priced at 160 each, the Alfams are great. Arabian Alfam was over by the time we reached the place.

Total Damages-Rs 630.This place is worth every penny..

Maharaja restaurant on 80ft road near Sony World junction has been one of our long standing eat outs. The restaurant crossed the street (literally moving to the opposite side of the road) with some decent Andhra food with accompanyments, it has been been a saviour on many ocassions of constant dabbling between choices of going here or there. The service is decent and we get large servings of food.

Thanks for the route motomaverick. Walking is faster than taking the car around Austin town. :)

Happy Endings (right below the Ruh Restaurant) - their crepes are amazing and so are their cakes. We ordered a birthday cake and even people who typically avoid eating cakes were all over them. Do try this place!

I am a regular customer of this cake-shop for the last 2 years. The cakes are really good & fresh. the blueberry cheese cake is recommended.

Had been to Al Noor, just as you described. Taste and quantity was worth all the hassle of going all the way from BTM. Thanks for finding it.
