Not exactly south bangalore but there is one opposite st. josephs school. In the Cariappa Bhavan. Think it is called wild spice, though I might be wrong. Good food

During my short stint in Bangalore before 3 months, I tried various eat outs at Madiwala as I stayed there. Below are my best finds.

1. Krishna sagar - Self service one is of decent quality at low price.
Their Andhra style restaurant became my favorite. Their
chicken chilli is a must try.

2. Hotel cauvey - this one is a low cost veg restaurant behind the Ayappa
temple. very good Tamil Nadu food at decent price. Could
serve as a regular place for bachelors.

3. Ambur Briyani center - near silk board. I found the briyani is ordinary when
compared to their outlet in Ambur. Nevertheless,
its a kind of OK.

I have seen a restaurant called Coorg on the road parallel to CMH Road (Krishna Temple road), very close to the KFC signal. I haven't been here but you can google it up, also found it listed on burrp. I vaguely remember a friend mentioning this is open only on weekends, but could be wrong.
*This is in Indiranagar, Eastern side of Bangalore.

Windsor Pub / Restaurant is known for their authentic Coorgi food. The Pandhi Curry is to die for and I quite liked their their Aapam & Stew as well.

The place is located in Vasanthnagar, 2 minutes from Alliance Francias / Jain Hospital / Mount Carmel College. :)

How is this place called Miller's Steak house and grill? Any items that are worth tasting? How is the price range?

You mean Miller's 46 on Millers road right ? IMHO the best steak house in Bangalore. Try any of their steaks or chicken wings and you be left licking your fingers. It's around 1200 for a couple I guess excluding alcohol.

^^ For steaks / sizzlers, I'd rate Grill-House (off Ulsoor Lake, near the Gurudwara) much better. Kobe's isn't bad either but a little pricey. :)

Yes I guess. The one that is near the Bhagwan Mahaveer Jain Hospital near Cantt. Station. That one seems like a busy joint. On weekends, I've seen a lot of people hanging outside, probably due to long waiting list??

Kobe's - you mean the one in Garuda? Been there only once and I loved their sizzler combos. Haven't tried the steaks. Will make an attempt next time.

Moderator saab, there's so many places in Bangalore, to pleasure our stomachs. Why not have a meet like the ones in Hyderabad? Mega lunch/dinner meet at some restaurant? Most of the Bangy meets are only drive meets or rides. Thoda pet pooja meet bhi dil maangta hai lol:

There is a Kobe's on CMH Road (Indiranagar) but I've never been there. The Kobe's in Garuda was good but I found it much too expensive. As a little kid, I remember trying a sizzler at Kobe's in Mumbai and it was the best I'd ever had.

Foodie meets were the order of the day a few years back. Things have changed! I'd certainly like to 'meat' you guys. :D The coming weeks are going to be difficult for me, but we should meat soon. ;)

I have heard great things about Grill House but the one time I went there, it was a dissapointment. So I stick to Miller's. Kobe in Bangalore is overpriced IMHO. It's a level below Millers etc but charges the same money.

Windsor Pub also runs another place in Indiranagar called 'I & Monkey'. I had been there a couple of months back. It is a small place with very nice ambiance and the food is great. Slightly expensive though.

Millers is head and shoulders above Grill house for me. Have visited both quite a few times and prefer Millers. Another good one is a one on church street. Cant remember the name, opposite to Empire. Great Chicken Sattelite.

I believe you are referring to Indijoe's here?

Kobe's best combination in Koromangala, before Java City in the left hand side.

Sizzlers rage from 499 onwards.
