You and I stay in Bangalore and I feel we need to cheer RC as it is called "Bangalore Royal Challengers". But it is left to individual opinions.

Maybe because they have Munaf Patel, one who cannot maintain his fitness for more than one match every year.

Honestly, I wish this IPL thing becomes a failure. I mean this is immoral on the part of BCCI to have banned the ICL and having this extravaganza of their own. Ironically, ICL was banned as it would have hurt the international events, but we have already seen/heard how IPL is hurting the Indian cricket in the aftermath of Ahmedabad debacle. Moreover there are reports that Newzealand players would miss their initial part of the England tour owing to IPL!

As for the voting is concerned, being a Kannadiga, I had to vote for RCs I suppose .

Guess what, he's been included for the 3rd Test. I wonder if he'll be fit for IPL if he plays the Test .

T20 is essentially a batsmans paradise and with Afridi, Gibbs, Gilly and Bandhar in the team, I feel Deccan Chargers will win the tournament.

or the Lahore Badshahs under Inzy. We should give equal if not more credit to ICL (& to Kapil Dev) than the BCCI sponsored IPL.

I feel the same about ICL. In fact by seeing at the Indian team in the ICL world series, I feel they've kindaa fulfilled their objective of providing a platform for the discarded to perform against the International players.

But having said that, I feel these leagues gonna affect cricket in a big way. For a start have a look at this.

And we thought, Aussies play for the passion of baggy green cap!
