There are two books: Owner's Manual and the Service Record.
Then for the accessories: Security System booklet & ICE booklet.
That's all I got.

What I would suggest is to make a photocopy of a borrowed manual, possibly at the service centre. You'll always find a couple of nonCRDe Scorpios at any visit. Hopefully, one of them might be carrying the book in the car.

I too do not like leather. Not for this country.
As for what needs doing, maybe a change to a more 'conventional' colour. Keep in mind that the interiors are grey.

Does that help at all?

ya, even i feel that leather is not at all practical here...
hey anup saab, my scorpio's interiors are in beige with the central console in wood finish, hence i chose the colour combination as beige and brown.

thanks mansidea oh and i have borrowed ur style and got my door pillars black taped in a similar fashion.
i am actually keen on taking the experiment further and getting the side wall of the gutter above the doors and along the A pillars taped black as well.
hehe might try it with insulation tape to see if it goes well and then get or do a thorough job myself what say
will definitely be in touch if i head south.

regarding the seat covers may i suggest mock leather.
my primary preference to those is because they are easier to clean and if some one is wet or sweaty or dirty it can leave a stink (not to mention a stain in the seat).
and they are not as expensive as leather.

Sorry for that mistake!
I feel that the beige you have chosen for the seatcovers is too light a colour.
Also, isn't it going to be hard to keep clean?

Actually, I personally do not like light coloured interiors in the car. Again, not suitable for our country!

I can see all Scorpios are going that route! I plan to keep mine without any change - maybe it'll really stand out as the one with 'body-coloured' pillars!!

I had considered the same, did some stuff on the pc, did not like it, hence went with mansidea (only the pillars).

Oh yeah! Just got the seat covers done...Looks great, combination of beige with a lighter piping...Now to keep it clean!!!

ya, even mock leather is fine, but i have no idea how it reacts to the climate in mumbai! i have never tried them.

ya, the beige interiors may not be suitable for our country but cant help it as it is standard with the car!
yes, the beige colour for my seat cover is light and very difficult to maintain but i do take special care that it doesnt get dirty. also by chance if it does, a small scrub with moist cloth is enough to clean it.
when i was looking for seat covers, i was actully looking for something which will suit the interiors of the car and not my sole preferance. i was prepared to be a bit extra careful with the light colour.
also, i think whoever has seen it in personal has liked it, i think the pics have come bad. anyways, i will still try out a different seat cover according to your suggestion...

Fine here in Mumbai...Go for it. Also, you get these "covers" which are put on and then "clipped" on tight. They look like they are the original seats. The whole thing takes about three hours to fit and cost me INR 5.5K. Lots of places in Lokhandwala (accessory shops) that do it...very common and looks like original stitched on.
