Bought myself a Polaroid sunglasses when i been to a business trip from Switz. Not much idea of what all it protects my eyes from :-) and was not very much aware of the superior brands that time.

Gifted it to my dad now :-)

Not sure whether somebody already pointed this out -
If you drive with a photochromatic sun glass in the hot sun and suddenly enter a dark tunnel, you may be temporarily blinded. This is because the lens that darkened in the bright sun would take some time to 'lighten' in the dark tunnel.

I have couple of Rayban Aviators (which continue to be my favorite) and I have one Oakley which I am scared to wear due to it's price. Dunno why I spent so much on it...I love Aviators.

Infractions: 0/2 (8)

which is precisely the reason that you are supposed to flick on your headlamps before entering a tunnel and/ or causeway and/ or entrance to a basement parking place and ideally, pull off your sunglasses at the same time. Safety First.
