As far as i can remember, its goes like this, white white face deke sasura dilva beating fast mare re. Oh Baby Oh Baby.....Dil dance mare re..LOL

It's a very popular video in MTV/V-Channel during some show which plays hit dance songs in the morning and until a few weeks ago ( till when i saw) this song was aired almost every single day. And, I use to gape through the entire song:D

Watched 99 a couple of days ago, it's hilarious. Cyrus is the cute and funny. Good star cast and everybody fitted in their respective roles very well.

99 was just a okay movie. A bit boring at times. Cyrus hardly opens his mouth.

Looks like all the skeletons from your closet are tumbling out now, Gautam.

Benny - my cupboard is full of skeletons - I watch a couple of movies every friday :D .

I will tell you a story about Tashan.

The day Tashan released , the multiplexes did not release it due to profit sharing issue. So i was glad that I would not have to watch it and my gf was wanting to see it.

I was driving to town and reached VT station when our Varun Kochar called me and started yelling on the phone deliriously "Awesome movie Tashan - must watch - superb - great - brilliant"

My gf heard all his shouting and I was forced to watch the movie in New Excelsior theatre sitting in the stall - was an awesome experience but for the movie.

Is this sadism or sadomasochism?

Really awesome - 4.5/5

I believe it was a remake of an English movie "12 angry men", need to get hold of that one :)

Remake will be too light a word. It's an exact replica of the movie. The scenes, the dialogues and even the sequence in which jurors sit have been copied from 12 Angry Men.

\N

Still not all copies are good & even as an exact copy it was good, the selection of actors to individual performance was simply brilliant.

Saw the promos of a new movie from RGVs factory called `Agyaat`.
Imho its a total Ripoff.!
Most of the scenes have been directly taken from the hollywood movie `Predator`.
I bet the story/plot has been copied too.

agree: A group of people in the forest and something invisible is hunting them one by one. Too many similarities to be an original script. If not a ripoff, sure will be heavily "inspired"

It will be a rip off, and a sad one at that. Thank god its not called परभक्षी (hindi for predator) and thats coz it would have been too complicated a name. :)

Boring ? it was Junk. I deleted immediately after watching.

New York

3 friends in NY city - their life changes after 9/11. One is suspected of running a sleeper terror cell and the other has to help the FBI find out if that's true.

Frankly the movie is a bore. there is no tautness in the script, no edge of the seat feeling through the movie which is a thriller. Performances are pretty ordinary too and the music is no great shakes as well.

And what the director is trying to say / justify is pretty muddled too.

Verdict - 1/5 - Avoidable

Paying Guests - 0/5 - Total crap

Gautam, now see this :D

New York
Rating: * * *

Its a movie about how 9/11 led to innocent muslims being detained and tortured by the FBI. The movie starts pretty well and the first half is gripping. The second half could have been a tad shorter but is ok. This is amongst John Abraham's better performances. Irrfaan is... well ... himself - brilliant. Katrina and Neil Nitin performed better than I expected them to. All is all, a nice one time watch.

Disclaimer: The wives, girlfriends, kids will not enjoy the movie coz of its serious and dark nature plus some torture scenes.

PS: I think producers started a reality show called "America's Worst C-Grade Movie Actor". The winner got to play the FBI head in this movie

PS2: I loved the music. Have downloaded the album and is now playing at home and in the car

What about Paying Guests ? :D

And why do I have this gut feeling that Kambhakt Ishq is going to have pretty similar fate as that of Tashan (which means Varun Kochar is going to love Kambhakt Ishq)? Any one else feel the same ?

The movie looks to be so damn irritating with Akshay and Kareena fighting like kids - damn damn

Did not bother to watch Paying Guests. :)

99 was a good time pass one time watch though.

KI promos are irritating no doubt, but even Jab We Met looked the same but turned out well. So lets see...Buttttt the stupidest movie of this year will be the one in which Rani Mukherjee dresses up as a sardarji and plays in the Indian cricket team. Saw the promo and it was Yuckkkkkkkkk.
