Whoa which multiplex allows you to go inside a movie hall of which you dont have tickets??

Actually they check tickets at the main entry.
After that you are inside, with access to all screens.
Since we had free time, we decided to take a peek in another screen!
The ticker checker inside the hall usually leaves after the initial 5-10 minutes of the movie.

I've done that too. My Father Gandhi was a bit of a bore so walked into the neighboring screen only to watch another flop movie. I don't remember the name but it was some cheapo hero who is in a shipwreck while travelling illegally to another country.

Aasmaan se gira and khajoor main atka !!

Anyone seen Detective Naani ?
Have downloaded the movie but it it worth a dekho ?

Yesterday we saw ICE age 3. We reached 30 minutes early, and as we were waiting we decided to go into Screen 2 for a while and catch a bit of Kambakht ishq.
We spent 2 minutes in the hall, where we saw akshay kumar making weird faces and a huge Afro American woman putting her hands up his behind.
That scene was enough to make us run away, and spend the next 15 minutes in the waiting area.
I really pity the guys who paid for that movie.

As for kareena, we got a glimpse of her too. It seems that the director could not sign on govinda, so decided to dress her up like him.

Wo sab to theek hai, but what about the ICE AGE review ? :D

Watched "New York" last week in theatre. I found the movie quite refreshing going by the hindi movie making standards and very good acting by all lead actors except Katrina who was just about decent in her acting and i fail to understand why she smiles so much in every movie of hers, we know she got great dentures but, we dont want to see them so often.

A nice perspective of the people who underwent torment post 9/11. I was especially impressed by Niel Nitin Mukesh and Irfan Khan.

4/5

To cut a long story short, I am glad to say that what I had envisioned has come true. Kambhakht Ishq is Tashan - part deux. :D

This movie is the peak in stupidity. There is the hype of 2 major Hollywood stars - Sly Stallone and Denise Richards - and they both look soooooooooo old. Denise looks downright ugly and manly in the shot where she comes out of the pool.

Kareena is at her screechiest and irritating best in the movie - the only good thing is the dresses she wears - awesome.

Akshay is on his way to becoming the new age Govinda (whose movies were a repeat of his performances in a comic role) - yuck.

The music is pathetic. The only 2 bright spots are Boman Irani and Jaaved Jafrri.

Verdict - 0/5
- ABSOLUTELY AVOIDABLE.

oh come on guys, it wasnt THAT bad. I went to see it this past saturday, a nice distraction after a horrible theory exam week :(. This is a movie that u just go there, turn your brain off, laugh at the stupid jokes, check out kareena's outfits..or lack of them, "almost upskirt" shots, hot body, the other women, etc, etc. The trailers clearly reveal its just a popcorn flick. But i do have to say, kareena looks better with meat on her bones, not the stupid stick figure look :(. Denise, yeah she is old, but she still looks good to me.

Saw New York. I got bored. Very predictable and obvious things happening.

The only part of the movie I liked was right at the end, the facts about torture cell et all.

Quite true. There were parts where dialogues tended to drag a bit, unnecessarily. Most of those dialogues came from Neil Nitin Mukesh,in my observation. Loved Katrina's performance, as well as Irrfan Khan's.

Planning to go for Sankat City tonight... any reviews/ thoughts ?

promos look good. Why dont you take the risk of watching it and letting us know how's the movie?:D

I am planning for it, don't worry. But the trouble is that I have not yet found a convenient show timing yet. Lets see how it pans out :)

So Eddy - did you finally manage to see Sankat City ?

The reviews are pretty encouraging everywhere.

Nahi Yaar... the latest show was 9 PM which was too early for me... tomorrow maybe
