My goodness! That's a terrific snap! Seiko could almost steal it for promotional purposes. stupid:
Always wanted a Seiko just for the lume.
Some nice watch collections I am seeing. Good to see people still buying HMT watches as collectibles. :)
I am fond of watches and I have around 20 watches in my collection. Few good ones and few not so good ones are there in my collection. Below are some of the recently acquired ones. Pardon me for the not so good images.

Didn't know they have this black dial. Must be a later addition. Mine was bought all most 5 years ago.
Luminous markings are the brightest I've seen. Image below I've posted before. |
Phew! What a shot - almost makes me hang my head in shame for posting the almost half heart attempt of a lume shot of my watch. :D

I've a HMT Vijay that I want to sell away. PM me if anyone wants it. I got it on eBay about an year ago - was my first mechanical watch - I'm no longer interested in it.

My latest waste of money is here, courtesy Russia post and India post. It cost me 3700 rupees (2,498 roubles).
Here's a look

Solved all problems of time, schedules and the twin paradox - I simply don't wear a watch. Haven't for years. Have survived.
Wife is gifting a watch , confused between these 2 models , which one would be better
Omega 35mm co-axial , auto Vs Longines Multifunction Master collection Auto

I'd pick the the Omega anyday. IMO, the Longines looks too cluttered. To each his own, though! :)
Cheers,
Vikram
Yes the Omega any day..

Omega is a more expensive brand compared to the Longines, but out the two models shown I would suggest the Longines. Looks more youthful, and yet very elegant.
this constellation has been my dream watch since last couple of years clean understated elegance, however i love the multifuntion features of Longines which is epitome of perfection watchmaking . what a dilemma !

The omega will age much more gracefully.
I've just purchased this Military style Seiko SNZG07J1. It's "Made in Japan", which apparently is considered a notch above the Seikos made elsewhere. Have gone swimming in it, and washed the strap under a running tap with some soap every so often. It runs beautifully, and so far as I can make out, after two weeks, is running approximately +1 sec faster per day. The dial is a little more pale green and cream than it appears in the picture. (cellphone pic)
Bought it online from Creation watches Singapore, and incredibly it was delivered without any duties, clap: though delivery by Fedex was delayed by a week due to Diwali.
