Have been using a Moto 360 Steel band version for almost a month.
Sweet watch. I wear it in preference to all the other watches I have.

I bought a Seiko SNZG07j1 from Creation in October and was lucky that no customs duty was charged.
Recently have obtained the SRP309k1, the famous Orange Monster, shown below with a pure leather Nato strap. This came from Amazon via Canada.

Having owned both the Japan made (J series) and the Malaysia (K series) I think the Japan watches are better regulated. My SNZG07J1 keeps within 2 seconds a day. while the 309k1 is about 45 seconds slow every day.
I'm apprehensive getting the OM regulated since I don't want to lose the water-resistance. The nearest authorised Seiko service point is 600 km away from Goa, and I'll wait until I can go there personally some day.
BTW the OM 309K1 is most comfortable with it's original steel bracelet. For some reason, Nato straps make any watch stand up too much on my wrist.

Yes, I read on some forums that customs duty in India is very arbitrary, and whether and how much to impose depends on the officer verifying the item.

If you're looking for a bracelet change for your Monster, you could consider the Super Engineer II. It's very a popular and apparently very good alternative.

Hello people, my son has scratched the glass of his G-Shock, the scratch (albeit a minor and next to invisible one) was caused by no apparent reason. He has noticed a growth in it since then. I wanted to ask, if it is applicable for a glass replacement under warranty, as the watch is less than a year old. If not, can the glass be replaced if the said part is provided? Also, what would be the cost of doing so?
Help will be appreciated,
Regards,

Regards,

I too had scratched the front glass of my G shock. Went to the service centre. They were quoting 6500 for the replacement. It's not covered under warranty. Hope it helps

My collection includes a Timex perpetual calendar (2007), Columbia (2007), Esprit (2011) and my latest one the Seiko SNDA65 (2015).

Perpetual calendar doesn't work as expected thanks to the local watch shop who damaged it during a battery replacement. The glass also requires a replacement due to few scratches and is unclear (foggy)

Also included at the end a couple of lume shots of the Seiko.

Would like to know if we could get any good quality Nato straps in India, retail shops or online. All my searches hasn't yielded any success so far.

My recent gift!! A ferrari watch!!! Love this!

I have bought a whole lot of NATO straps, nylon as well as leather, from eBay India. Pretty good quality

Could you please guide me to the seller, or the link please?

Just bought this watch as a gift for my brother -

Details can be seen here -

I have never used an Edifice before. But for the price, I really liked the quality, feel and design of this watch. Plus I feel that this will go with both casual and formal attire.

I did not want too much bling, hence I stuck with the usual chrome and black combo.

Here you go: http://www.ebay.in/sch/Straps-Bands-/179575/i.html
Have also bought from Aliexpress.com, but delivery is very long, and got fed up of waiting two months for my parcel.

My newest acquisition. The Armani Ceramica AR1410. :)

Valentines day and the missus went all out. Got a tissot vintage. Looks amazing. Love it.

My collection now has ten watches.

Seiko owners especially the divers, please please post the shots of the lume (like the one one-77 has posted).

Here you go, its a phone camera so not the best picture I have.

I own a Raymond Weil Parsifal. It was a gift on my 21st birthday.

This is the only seller I recommend on eBay for NATO

www.ebay.in/usr/fundeals2015

Prices are reasonable, but can't match direct imports. But the man's gotta make a living right?

His name is Vasanth. Tell him Tassem from Bangalore recommended and ask for a discount. He'll work out a good deal if you buy a few straps in one go.

However, this is only if you can't wait. I order most of my straps from ebay.com. Any seller with 99%+ feedback is safe and will deliver. But the wait is of course 10-45 days.

Hope this helps,

Tassem.
