At last got my Maratac SR-1. Bought this long time ago but could not get it to INDIA. I was a bit apprehensive about the size as all my other watches are below 42mm. This is 46mm but it does not wear very big. I had buyers remorse when I bought it but liking it now after putting on the wrist.

Having said that If given a chance I ll pick up a SR-35, smaller and i kinda like that orange trident :)

This watch is with me from almost 8-9 years now but I never thought the dials are going to be very close resemblance to our TeamBHP logo. I think my watch will be redlining much later. lol:

The watches I own are

1. Casio Edifice Chronograph

2. Fitbit Blaze - My daily wear.

3. Vintage Omega Seamaster - Requires a restoration. Planning for it sometime in 2018.

4. Seiko Sea Urchin - Just landed.

Citizen Eco-Drive chronograph
Fast-track, date
Titan day date week 24 hours.
Titan obaku
Timex expedition
HMT Kanchan.

These are some that I own

Made a bit of an outrageous buy stupid:

Omega Seamaster Commander's Watch Limited Edition.

This actually becomes my fourth acquisition this year after three simple watches. (A Tissot, Casio Edifice & a Fossil Watch)

I will let the pictures do the talking.

Wow what a lovely watch. The Seamster Aqua Terra is one of my grail timepieces.

Whats the size of the case? Mind sharing the acquisition cost? you can PM me if thats OK.

I have been getting mails with these links to some big brands with heavy discounts. My sure guess is these are 'chinese look alikes'. Can someone please clear my doubts. The prices are so lucrative and hard to give a miss.

Here are the links :

The venerable F91W, another Casio classic. Nice watch, I have the Casio G shock in a similar aesthetic the DW5600. Nice retro watch, but really hard wearing and light on the wrist as well. :thumbs up

Isn't this the A158WA? The F91W is the plastic version. I ordered one just yesterday as my 'study' watch :lol .

It's actually from the Diver Collection & not the Aqua Terra. Bought it from Ethos Watches. Will PM you the cost.

There are some offers going on on some brands right now. But best to trust the likes of Ethos, Prime or Just In Time Multi-Brand Watch Stores.

Yes, it is A158WEA-9CF.

Any idea how authentic are the watches listed in this website:
http://shopping.rediff.com/categorie...es_menswatches

It says the watches are imported and have 2 years seller's warranty. OEM won't entertain any warranty claims.

They are certianly fakes, looking at the price they aren't even first copies. I would suggest to give them a pass, as they will not last and at 4-5K you get pretty good quality in India.

They are most definitely not the real deal, going by the big brands they have advertised and the corresponding ridiculously low prices. Don't bother taking a second look, you get far better watches at the prices quoted.
