I also recently got a HMT Janata. I am really interested in getting a strap one of the kind which you have. Can you tell me where did you get it in Bangalore. |

The friend who gave me these watches also imported a huge batch of NATO straps and he gave me a set with the watches.

I was also searching for Nato straps, the ones from abroad were running to around 10US$ each. then I chanced on the seller "fundeals" on ebay india. Besides him there are also other sellers. try this link

I've bought four in various sizes and colours at 299/- each, and can confirm they're really good.
My recent acquisition, the one i was desperate to get for quiet some time. Off course didn't like the strap which came with the watch, so upgraded to NATO strap. And this looks classicclap:
Currently have this one in rotation !
A microbrand from New Zealand, makes pretty cool automatics and divers ..

Anybody with a Pebble Steel? Looking for some first hand feedback.
A matte black with steel strap and shipping to India is $194
i own a Casio Databank Calculator Series watch which looks tech savvy from outside with it's black strap and black casing.
But in digital watch category i feel the best watch that would suite for both professional duty and casual outing is the Steel finish based Casio DB 380-1.
Here is the link to that watch, Attaching a picture of the watch for signifying it's beauty and elegance

Pickup another watch Basis Peak. More of a fitness gadget. Like the interface and results are nearly accurate.

I am looking for a 23mm black metallic bracelet for a Citizen. Any suggestions where I can find? I am not able to get any till date. I see only 22 or 24. But no 23mm.

Thanks. Before posting I was looking at Amazon and I saw that they had the same product which Strapcode shows. But they dont ship it to India. Will look for others. Looks like the 23mm is a genuine problem!
I am not a watch enthusiast, I own a few Swatches, a few Casios, a citizen ecodrive, a fossil but after I bought my favourite watch SKAGEN, Titanium 809XLTBN, I almost stopped wearing any other watch.

I've just purchased this Military style Seiko SNZG07J1. It's "Made in Japan", which apparently is considered a notch above the Seikos made elsewhere. Have gone swimming in it, and washed the strap under a running tap with some soap every so often. It runs beautifully, and so far as I can make out, after two weeks, is running approximately +1 sec faster per day. The dial is a little more pale green and cream than it appears in the picture. Bought it online from Creation watches Singapore, and incredibly it was delivered without any duties, clap: though delivery by Fedex was delayed by a week due to Diwali. |
If it has a 30 meter water resistance, you're pushing it. I suggest you don't.
Cheers,
Jay
Hi jay. No, as you'll see from the pic posted, the Seiko snzg07 has 100m water resistance. Been swimming about 20 times and I wash the watch and nylon strap every few days.
I have had Seiko watches for the last 40 years. The waterproofing as stated is 100m, and I have never had any water leak. It used to be on my wrist 24x7, bathing swimming - no problems.
Just picked up Rare HMT Kajal & HMT PILOT Black Dial .
Both are installed with original cow Leather black straps , hope you guys like it :)
