@bluevolt: If you change the theme to Standard Blue, you won't see this problem. Somehow I find the black theme very disturbing to the eyes. (personal opinion)

Thanks Thad! If we modify the software, it has to be for a feature that will be popular with a majority of BHPians (example : The THANKS feature or you've been quoted PMs). Modifying the software leads to its own complications, hence we prefer to keep things as simple as possible.

Why not introduce a "like" button instead of the "thank" button that's been removed in the "Official Non Auto Image" Thread. One can just press "like" instead of writing a 'meandering' reply.

And this post is an example of that. I want to thank/like your post but can't do so and that's why made this post. And this is happening all over shifting gears section.

Let the 'Likes' go uncounted just like the posts made there and that's it

PS - Sadly this has been suggested many times by many members here but has been passed evertime :(

I am not getting, you've been quoted PM everytime anyone quotes my post. This is happening from last 2 days.

What could be the issue ?

1) The "you've been quoted" PMs are not sent when a member using an iPhone quotes a post.

Can something be done about that? I've missed out on a lot of replies and questions because of this.

Sorry, but there is too much overlap (in terms of purpose) between the Like & Thanks buttons.

Did you get a PM for this quote? Or, it could be that someone has quoted you via the Team-BHP Mobile Apps. It's not possible to integrate the PM-Quote functionality into the Apps at this time.

Yes ive received the PM regarding the quotes. It maybe an issue with the mail server since others are also quoting the same issues. Hopefully its resolved now.
