Hey even my Dad too. We never miss (actually he never let me miss) an opportunity to watch any match played by Argentina in the World Cups. I like them so much that sometime I feel even if India plays against them sometime in future I'll support Argentina only .. And it's been a long due for them to win a World Cup since 1986 and I badly want them to win.

I think I'll go for Germany although even Spain, Brazil & Argentina stand a good chance of winning the cup !

Germans have a team of people who were superb in the last cup, just a little too outclassed, but this time, they have the right combo. They will win i feel, look at the strong opening they made, beat Aus black and blue!

As of now the favorites seems to be Argentina, Brazil, Germany, France and Italy. Other teams in top 10 FIFA rankings include Spain, Netherlands, England, Portugal and Croatia. I think I will wait till the first round is over to hazard a guess on the winner.

Germany looked the best so far but it's going to be Argentina only. Wish Maradona could have played in Veron's place to provide some killer passes to Tevez & Co

almost 90 % of players are new in this WC. Its very hard to tell. Germany has a very good chance after seeing yesterday's match.

After just one match??

They attacked right from the start and the Aussies were left guessing.

Germany has changed the way they play football. The short passes game has changed.

I think this is the only team in the world that plays with its brains.

GO GERMANY GO.

+1 to that. The Nationalmannschaft played as a cohesive unit under their astute coach Joachim Löw who was an understudy to Klinsmann 4 years back.

Like their famed teams of the past they played with precision and purpose. They were clinical yet showed some flair and with an average age of 25 I'm sure that this youthful team will reach the finals.

My dream final would be Argentina meeting Germany and wants that lil Messi to lead them to their 3rd World Cup victory which would mean that Maradona will hold the trophy again after 24 years to finish that unfinished chapter of 1990 where a Klinsmann dive gave Germany that Penalty and the Cup

Well i dont think it would be Italy, the way they are playing against Paraguay I will be surprised if they even make it past this round. Germany is the only one which has really been impressive till now. Will wait a while before I vote though

Italians are too old to win the cup

They really lacked the creativity of Pirlo in the Midfield and upfront they are lacking a world class striker. I don't expect them to go beyond the quarter finals.
