Hello Mods,

I am trying to create an account in the classifieds section. However, I haven't received the activation email yet. I get the following message instead (I have checked the spam/ junk folder as well):
"You haven't activated your account as yet. Please check your email inbox (& junkmail folder) for an email from Team-BHP Classifieds containing an activation link that you must click."

Could you please check? TIA!

Facing same issue since morning. I've tried another email as well but not getting activation email on either.

Hi Mods, I'm unable to register on the Classifieds section as the activation mail isn't reaching my mailbox. Have tried two different email addresses but nothing seems to work.

I want to list my car on teambhp first in the hope that she gets a good home but unable to register my login id, kindly help!

A quick question to the Mods - can we post household items (e.g. TV, Refrigerator, AC, washing machine, furniture etc.) in our Team-BHP classifieds?

You may add it under the gadgets and electronics sub-section.

Someone I know has closed his automobile spare parts shop due to personal reasons. He wants to sell the existing stock of spares parts kept at home. Can he post an ad in the classified section with list of spares and their individual prices and keep editing the ad as and when the spares are sold?

Really sorry about this, there is a problem with these emails that we're working on fixing.

I have activated your account v*****3@gmail.com

In case you would like to use the other email address, please email classifieds at team-bhp.com from that address and we'll manually activate the account.

Yes, this would be acceptable if there are > 15 items he wishes to list.

Do have him sign up as a "Dealer" (and if he has an issue with the Activation Email, please follow the instructions I've shared with fine69 above.

I am not receiving notification emails related to ads. One bhpian contacted me via PM after he didn't get any response to the message he sent via classifieds and that's how I realized that I am not getting any emails. Have checked the spam folder, nothing there too.

Sorry about the email issues guys!

Things should be mostly back to normal since last Thursday (23rd June 2022).

Activation emails & messages from interested parties are both going through.

The only exceptions being:
1) Emails to @icloud.com addresses - still working on fixing this
2) Emails you might send directly to classifieds@team-bhp.com - working on this as well


UPDATE: The above 2 issues have been fixed in early/mid-July.

Can we put some mechanism to periodically validate/expire ads on tbhp classifieds? I have not received any replies to the 3-4 classified ads i responded to do far, and I'm wondering if it's because most of them were really old and owners have sold out forgotten about these ads and no longer care?

Yes, we do actually have exactly this functionality set up -- though recently it hasn't been running due to some technical issues.
