One interesting thing. Yesterday I happen to check my sold out vehicle for any pending fine online and yes, it was there . The date was November 2018 and I exchanged my car in May 2019. While exchanging the car I had checked for any pending fine and it was not there. Somehow due to great Indian systems it has started reflecting now. Though it is just Rs. 100/- for making a U turn where not allowed, I am curious to know if I should go ahead and make that payment. My exchanged car is already transferred to new owner in June 2019.
As an ethical move should I pay the fine for an offense that I do not even remember since as per the date the car was in my possession that time. (Sometimes I just wonder about who is right/punctual and who is not )

Hi All

I got the 'Parking Violation tag' near Jayanagar, Bangalore. The amount seems to be overwritten from 100 to 1000 with a patch paste.

I was trying to pay it online but the violation is not showing up against my registered car number.

I am confused now. Is it the expected experience?
Does only traffic violation shows up against registered car number and Parking Violation is a free-form (to be filled by user including the payment amount)?

It's Rs. 1000 for parking violation, I have recently paid.

Parking violations are also available on Bengaluru Traffic Police website. However, it usually takes few days time to show up here.

I think it won't show up if you paid it already, my past paid tickets doesn't come if I do a search now

Couple of weeks ago I saw that I had a 500/- fine against my vehicle. But yesterday and today have been trying to pay it at karnatakaone.gov.in and its saying "technical difficulties" tried the BTP site but it just directs you to the K1.gov.in site and same story there "technical difficulties".

any solution to this besides going to Bangalore one kiosk to physically pay?

Just find a traffic cop with a handheld device. He will be able to check the fine on his device. Pay him the money and collect the receipt.

You are responsible for the payment. Simple. The new owner is going to carry that and when he is caught by Traffic police for some other reason, they will try to harass him showing the pending challan. I don't think you need curses and abuses from the current owner.
