The Miata is a classic already. I had one and recently sold it to another friend who was after me desperately for it.
If it runs well theres nothing like it. Rear wheel drive. Good feul economy and the perfect short shift throw.
The car in question looks quite run down. Notice the bald tyres. It seems to have a Eunos badging. This means the car should have power steering and windows, Recaro seats with the speakers built in the headrest, and all leather interior with a Momo steering wheel covered by the Eunos embossed on the steering boss too.
The door or the wings seems repainted badly as there is an apparent difference in the shade.
Even the rear left piece near the light seems to be broken.
A good car is very difficult to find and commands a price of anything between 5 to 6.5L. There are other non Eunos examples with power nothing for as low as four, provided they are in good shape and need no work at all.
Parts are not that easy to procure in India and one should in my opinion steer clear of cars such as these which are in such a bad shape.
I doubt there are any good, clean Miatas left and if there are, they are very very rare.

hey v-16. Sounds like bombay prices are a bit high. You can pick up great condition Eunos/miata's for 2.5-3L in Delhi. The bad condition ones you can get near free.
I agree it is hard to find a good condition miata... but they are around. A lot of ppl who love cars but couldn't afford the crazy prices opted for the miata over the last 5-6 years. those cars have survived. Some of them are now being upgraded to other cars as prices have come down. I remembe when Miata's used to go for 28L. It wasn't so long ago... Also miata parts are very easy to get anywhere in the world. In Delhi you can get parts for anything now. and its not difficult.

as far as i remember... the miata and sera were the popular sportcars ( if u can call it that ) and the landcruiser and x5 were the popular suvs. mercs were more popular than beemers , but i do not know much about that era... my dad had bought a v8 dodge challenger from bagla's dad and says that it was pure muscle..

In my view, only if its the vintage 70's model .. Don't care about the other models (Not that I have a non chalant attitude towards them, but just that the 70's Challenger is a Phenom in its own)

i visited the satya sai ashram in whitefiield the other day and found two landrover defenders rotting and a station wagon that looked like nissan sunny(not sure about this one)

if you want to see the biggest junk of delhi visit the vasant kunj petrol pumps ... the guy has an x5, 6 or 7 W124's and other embassy cars rottting...

Mine had a 4.1 litre (250 cu.in) 6-cylinder in-line, that developed 155 bhp@ 4000 rpm; 324 Nm@ 1600 rpm
Of course there was a Maverick "Grabber" version with Ford's 302V8.
This green one is a 1972.

Ram

Awesome quote ram , just love this green ford

I was really shocked to see this! Once these were the chariot which was treated much better than an individual in a family, without any dust or dirt. Both of these are at Delhi, the 140-series S-class was seen at a complex next to Paliga Bhavan (opp: Grand Hayatt Hotel) & the LS430 in the parking of Paliga Bhavan Complex.

It is Palika Bhavan hanmust.

it is a popular place for repairs and looks like these cars must be there for work.
while you were there did you manage to see the VW golf GT like Gogi bhai's. it stands next to the ramp going up to the main road.

Here's a '91 911 Carrera 2 Turbo lying in Goa customs.

Wow, seeing that carrera just lying there with all that dust to it makes me want to cry. Do you happen to know how long it has been there? Or if the owner of the car is going to eventually get it through customs:Shockked:

Some foreigner had got it along but then decided that he didn't want to pay that much and abandoned it. I think its been there since 10+ years.

Was this Porsche on the road hoping to be sold and later confiscated? I think there is a picture of this car during better days on this site. I think it was on ebay for a while
