These have been lying there for a very long time. Have seen the Q7 abandoned at a few garages before it came to rest here. The cars look clean in the pic only due to the rains - else the reality is worse.

There is another similar LC lying in the same parking lot. It is Dark Blue in colour. I couldn't take any pictures of that one since it located in an extremely dark spot. Will try to get it some other day during daytime.

Both cars have been lying here for the last 8 months. This is as per the two security guards of the parking space. Also according to them, these cars have come from Dubai. I however don't agree with them, since Dubai number plates have "Dubai" written on them, which is not the case here.
I feel both cars are most probably from some European nation, but not England, since both are LHD.
They also mentioned that the owners had already paid parking fees for 6 months before leaving the cars here. Also, the owners are from Dubai, and are in Dubai at the present moment. They are not able to return to the cars due to lockdown (again, as per the security guards).

At least this car is in a spotless condition as it had been raining during daytime. Couldn't figure out the condition of the blue car.

Both cars are nicely kitted, like BF Goodrich A/T tyres, Safari branded snorkel, off-road spec steel bumpers, roof carrier, foldable canvas tent, etc.
Most probably these cars were on a world tour or maybe some other really long tour through various countries (this is what I feel).

Whatever may be the case, the reason of their import is absolutely unknown. For all I know, they might have been imported by some large corporation, or some hospital nearby, who knows?
But one thing is certain, that these cars have been left here since a very long time now. And that's the only reason I've posted the pictures here.

P.S. I have intentionally captured the photo of the Force Traveller as well, just to show how BIG this thing is. It is H-U-G-E! It's height and length is almost equal to the Traveller. This is the first time I've seen an LC Series-70 in my life. It's sight was a treat for my eyes.

This is a German number plate, registered in Düsseldorf.

Re: Pics: Imports gathering dust in India

A bit old spotting. Happened to come across the pics again so thought of sharing here.

Spotted a Volvo 264GL at Bangalore in relatively good nick for an abandoned car. Wheels look aftermarket I think.

Hey, I live in Noida only and would like to check this beast out. Can you please share the location of this beast?

It was parked on the sector 11 sector 12 dividing road. Between metro hospital and swany furniture red lights. There is a guy there who works on heavily modded off road vehicles. Pretty close to my in laws place and when I went there about 5 days back, didn't see it on the road at least. Couple of souped up gypsys were though.

Rohan is right about the location. There were a couple of modded Mahindra MM550s, a Lexus LX470 (possibly a LC100 convert) and a modded Gypsy around the same place as well.

Oh okay, thanks for sharing the details. Even I saw these gypsies a few days ago. Wasn't able to make out that the Jeep was parked here only.

Another abandoned S Class which has literally gone into the ground. Parked in the parking lot of a Cafe in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.
