Spotted a white Mercedes 300D 4matic near Elgin road Gurudwara today and while I was driving along the AJC Bose road flyover,I spotted a Volkswagen in my IRVM,and thought it to be a Jetta.But it came alongside me and then took a right turn towards Zeeshan and finally sped away towards Ballygunge Phanri.It was a maroon-ish Passat 2.0 TDI with WB 06B 8XXX registration plate.The taillight cluster was awesome.Took a couple of pictures of the car.

@ultimate champ: I don't think the Passat is anything to write about. Yeah sure its a bit uncommon but its sold here officially by VW so it isnt an import. And it definitely isnt a supercar or an exotic.

Hey Kolkata Team-BHPians, just got news from a friend that there's an aston martin convertible in kolkata. Anyone heard anything of the sort?

Going through the thread elsewhere on the Tolly Club Car & Pet Show (might have got the label wrong) 2009, I am almost certain that the gentleman who had put his RR Corniche II on the block was Mr. G Momen. Will appreciate any updates on this RR?

All of you Kolkatans, please be on the lookout for a White Evo VII. It looked real to me. Was going to the airport at 5 in the morning when the car zoomed away in the opposite direction.
The driving was pretty spirited I must say.
The engine hood of the car has got after-market air scoops.
I have seen quite a few Evo kits on lancers but the engine whine was distinctly different, so I'm guessing it wasn't a kit.
Any update on this please?

No pics though, the car was faster than me. Lousy me.
