The car will not be available for private viewing till the time you personally know the owner. Maybe you can have a good look as and when she competes

None of the work on the car was done in India. Yup, it will come back to the Bangalore factory

To be honest your previous and current response are all making a reference to a Mr Kersy Mistry but that I feel was confusing matters as for me all i was expecting from you was to explain the depth of your involvement with this "1200 bhp skyline" in Mumbai. So as mentioned I look forward to seeing or reading about this car.
It will be bonus if someone gets a glimpse and can post pics of this car.

When you say fully blown up car you mean it is fully modified correct !!!!not the other meaning. So when you say you were involved with the car from day one it actually means you know about the car and saw the dyno'd results right. Apart from that all the work was done outside India and by specialist tuners. May be this was the confusing thing also for me as I now understand.
You are absolutely right mate. For real enthusiasts all that should matter is to appreciate the car for what it is.

v1p3r .... I do not own the R33. Please read my posts.

Rehaan !!!!!! very good observation.. it will need a real drag strip for the run car to run at its full potential. it needs a huge run off area. when the car was driven abroad, the track was sprayed with rubber compund for better traction ( they call it the glue there ). Also, for the chute to operate you need a very long run away for it to be effective.Probably for a car like this, India needs a professional drag strip

R32 _ GTR... smart move.

So exactly what is a 1200bhp skyline doing here. When We dont even have 1/4 of professional drag strip here in India.

If something were to go wrong(touch wood it doesnt) can you imagine the colossal damage it would cause to the car, driver and people around it(spectators).

Yes car is in perfect shape no doubt, but your track is not even 30% upto the mark for a car like this.

Exactly Dan, the main concern is do we have enough stopping distance to bring this (beast+Monster) * 2 to a halt after a 1/4 mile run.

Forget khargar Speedrun Track. She needs an airport runway for that.

Also, since we are on the topic of safety...

Is this rollcage complete ?

There is minimal triangulation, no gusseting....and no crossbar at the back!!?

so a car like this would reach an approx top speed in its QUATER MILE run of how much 300kph or more???

What is the distance needed to stop a car like this along with chutes(you know what i mean) and does our Track have that much of space.

the field at the end of the road would bring it to a halt pretty soon

Available only in the US for drag racing.

Lucky guys can spot it late at night very occasionaly in Bangalore.
Prasad, nice find. After I posted, I just knew I should have blanked out the JUN plate.

Wonder what the hype is all about. The last i know the car looked like this....maybe it still does. Hope to see it again on our drag strips. You can be quite sure that there are cars to give this a good run for the money.
