Hey Sojogator. Doing that. Unfortunately even basic twisty roads is a far fetched idea in this city. I so miss Pune for this man. Trying to get my hands on her and just get that run in over with.

Fullrevs, Thanks a ton mate. The Speed is a superb naked. Gonna put that video soon. Trying to borrow this microphone from a friend of mine. Lets see how that goes.

I myself have lusted after the speed triple since I was 15 and your post has made me reconsider my decision of picking up a gt-tsi. Try as hard as they may cars just can not connect with you the way bikes do. I need to work on how to convince everyone around me to let me pick the bike instead.

Have fun with the bike due, and hope the health issue is a minor one. Cheers
Thankyou noo.b. Much appreciated. Oh this connect with motorcycles is something else. All men are boys and there is nothing better to prove that, than a engine on 2 wheels. Go for the Speed and believe me, you'd be smiling forever.

This is the first Speed Triple review on tbhp so will pretty much become the standard thread and most useful source of information for this model in India! No pressure

That's a great looking triple and a great write up that does the motorcycle full justice.

Ride Safe,

Cheers,

Hello Sting. Thank you. to the "no pressure bit". Will keep updating and riding as much as i can. Thanks a million again.

You would have the roads but not the required petrol at Pune though

Congrats Odeen ! The Speed 3 is a wheelie monster I hear, love to swing a leg over one someday. It looks sinister in black, very Godfather !

@Sojogator - the Triumphs run fine on regular 91 octate gasoline. Pune is home to many a big bike!

Cheers,
(another) Rahul with a Triumph !

I am aware that Pune is home to many of these lovely machines and the roads are far better than what we have here at Bangalore. But I believe, higher octane fuel is not available and these machines run better on these fuel.

Re: The Triumph Speed Triple burbles my socks off!

@Sojogator, @Odeen, high octane petrol (Speed 97) has been regularly available at the COCO Pump opposite the RTO in the heart of Pune City since the last 8-9 years. I think it's available in nearby PCMC area as well. I used to tank up my R1 from here regularly.
Pune today is one of the largest markets for Super Bikes in India & things would have been different had proper fuel not been available.
Please don't think too much about availability of fuel. Enjoy your bike. We have enough Shell bunks around the city to pamper your bike.

Its not available anymore at the fuel pump and no where in Pune as far as I know. Not sure if it changed in the last month or so.

Hey Thank you Ricci, happy that you liked her. Yep she does tilt towards those wheelies. I got her up unintentionally. Scared the soul out of me. Came home and parked her quietly...Good to know she does that too.

Lovely Write up and a very emotional one at that.
Congrats on the bike, ignore the claws that your kitten might leave but think of the fact that you need not wake up to see some rats biting into your wiring harness or plumbing joints of the petrol.

You can always sticker them up at your friendly 3M store

That last photo took some time to be completed. But eventually got there.
I went through every post and word reading ownership experiences, waiting for her to come.
Hey, you also have a FZ1 right? That's a sweet thing.
Regards
Rahul
