Donno if this is the right thread to post this but a friend of mine is really interested in importing a brand new Ninja ZX 10R ,legally.
Money is not an issue ,he is willing to pay all the duties etc.
Can anyone please PM me the details regarding the procedure and also the contact no. of a person who can help us with this.
Thanks

Faithless, if you/your friend can organise the following, the process will not be as much a task most think it would be.

1. An overseas vendor who will sell you the bike without registration, and who will have it crate packed and agree to export.

2. A very efficient Clearing & Forwarding agent to clear your cargo without wasting much time without wasting unwarranted moolah.

3. An R.T.O. agent who will manage the redgistration process of the bike.

All this, and a few weeks and some serious cash (in the range of 12-15L) should be good enough to have an able Kwacker in your garage.

manson.

Thanks for the reply Manson , spoke with a fellow bhpian from Delhi who knows a reliable guy who has promised to get the bike for us (legally) in the price range you mentioned.
Now my friend will directly speak with this guy in a day or two and hopefully finalize the deal.

Please be really careful about people who talk like that, make sure you get references.

The pipe on the R1 looks pathetic! Not sure why anyone would use something like this.

Great pics Nandishpal! The B-king looks mind-boggling...had seen one in Panjim.
I just hate that Harley, the front wheel screws the look entirely!
