Good to see that the manufacturer's are now bringing the mean machines to India. Only concern is, the riders accustomed to 100 & 150 cc bikes should learn to wear protective gears before riding these super bikes!

The more the merrier. Soon there would be KTM and Kawasaki being offered on Indian roads.

I just wish these companies start manufacturing them here to make them more affordable.

I feel considering these bikes would be imported CBU the govt is protecting the local mfg whose bikes fall in the sub 800cc category.

As such the law permits import only of 800cc + bikes

I am sure there are no test rides offered on the officially launched big bikes in India. But do the showrooms have a prototype where one can check out if the riding position of the bike suits one's size? Or do they allow you to clamber onto another customers bike?

I doubt you're even allowed to do that.
