I will definitely try to make it on Sunday morning. As i mentioned earlier i have a family function on Saturday and if that goes on till late night then its a no brainer.

and regarding giving 'Taang', Ghodlur had quite literally given his 'Taang' to miss the meet.
Ok boss chall you get the benefit of doubt.

I am adding my name to the list of tentative participants. I would have given a confirmed yes but I may be going to Lonavala for the Mahindra Off roading meet in my friend's Thar on Saturday. Married members will see the humour if I go out on Sunday too to talk about cars.

In case I am coming for the meet I will come directly to South Mumbai using the Bandra Worli Sea Link.

Confirmed:
1. Shome - Swift (joining from Chembur)
2. EagleEye - Laura
3. VVB8530 - Honda City??
4. Jignesh - WagonR
5. SDP - XUV5OO

Tentative:
1. Ghodlur - Grande Punto
2. esma1981 - Polo GT
3. Powertrain - SX4
4. Desmosedici - Gypsy??
5. Raj Bajwa - Fiat Linea

C'mon guys, I have become a butt sorry taang of jokes now. I was all geared up for the Friday meet (with Mithai box too) but I guess "Daane(mithai) Daane(mithai) pe likha hai khane wale ka naam". I will try harder now to shed this "taang"ing image.

Hello Ghodlur,

Though we will like to have the Mithai from you personally, But if you cannot attend the meet on Sunday, you can hand over the box to people working in Powai on Friday, which will be delivered to us on Sunday.

Jokes apart, congrats on your new car & looking forward to read a ownership thread soon.

Thanks,

Jignesh,
Thats a good idea. You will have to do me a favour, take the Ghodbunder road route on Sunday and pick up the mithai box on the way to Powai. What say?

Being a Sunday morning and our inbuilt/programmed system of IST(Indian Standard Time), what time do you guys think that the motorcade will make it to Marine Drive? I'm available till 11am, and can help coordinate at the meeting point at Marine Drive. For snacks I would suggest a walk to Veer Nariman (V N) Road after parking on Marine Drive.

I guess a lot of people are backing out or panicking because they need to wake up early for an 8 am Sunday meet, i suggest we keep the meeting time at 10 a.m. which will ensure us to reach S. Mumbai by max 11:30 am - which will be an ideal time for BRUNCH.

What say ?

I am OK. Whichever time is convenient for most, let's do that.

(Would have loved to have polls on the fly for this kind of thread. Unfortunately there are technology limitations.)

10am suits me the best. I can party till late on saturday night and still wake up on time for the meet on Sunday.

Few others (Read - Desmo) might also be able to make it if its not early morning.

Is this meet open for families? I will consider attending if it is so.
