- KRS backwaters - 135 km, SH 17 Mysore (3)
- Hesarghatta grasslands - 50 km, off NH 4 before Nelamangala (Golden palms road) (3)
- Kanva reservoir - 60 km, off Mysore road, Ramanagaram (2)
- Shettihalli church - 200 Km, NH48, off Hassan (1)

Went to Kanva couple of weeks ago. There is hardly any water there and it was quite dirty too. Here is a pic.

Sunday is preferred since some members had commented once about few people having 6-day-weeks and hence were unable to join the meets. Sunday will allow everyone to join.

Thanks for the pm Karthikk. Will update by tomorrow. As it is a short distance it should be good. Any tentative timings planned for it like meeting time,etc.

Nothing decided as of now, but anything around 6.30 AM should be convenient. We could plan in such a way that we hit NICE exit at Tumkur road by 7-7.30ish, so that we can finish breakfast at Aggarwal's or some such restaurant there and then go to Hesarghatta. It will be a slight detour from the Hesarghatta route though. You would be able to suggest better places I guess . What do you say?

I'm in for Sunday.

My suggestion is that lets plan to leave from the meeting point at 6.30am. Meeting at 6.30am is a tad late IMHO since it will be around 7 or so when we actually hit the road after everyone comes to the meeting point.
