Guys, is there a dedicated/marked parking area for the fort and the lake? How is the road condition after the turn-off from Hyd highway (as shown in google maps)? Doable in a hatchback?

Road conditions are very good - just follow Google Maps. There is no dedicated parking near the lake so you need to park on the wider section of the road. However the Fort has a parking area, but you will need to drive through a narrow road to reach the fort parking - again follow Google maps, it take you right to the parking area.

Why a meet inside city and not a drive to some place on a highway as has been done earlier? Because of the weather?

I will be interested if any such change in plan.

Since this is a quick meet, the intention is to spend more time socializing than driving, and to also allow a higher turnout in case people are not able to dedicate more time for a drive meet. Having it close by to Bangalore or in the city itself will allow more convenience compared to scheduling a longer drive which can span half or a full day.

I have recently joined the club and would like to meet you Guys. If it is open for all, then count me IN, in case dates falls on any weekends after 20th Apr. Unfortunately not available in town till then. I am fine with both the options - inside city or for any drive.
