It was nice meeting you guys this morning! Lot of old faces and few new ones. Was surprised to see so many folks not in the meet list turn up

I was keeping an eye on the thread, but didn't commit since I wasn't sure I'd make it. Woke up earlier than I thought I would this morning, so decided to drop in to say hello!

Few pictures I took while I was there:

Indeed a nice quick meet over breakfast and good to have met a lot of you for the first time ever along with few familiar faces from the previous meets.

The venue was perfect for today with ample parking but we certainly must extend this to some place that complements with a short drive outside the city. Like Suhaas307 was contemplating, few off beat places to saviour some lovely thatte idlies as flat as the tarmac next time!!

Lovely meeting you guys and nice to put faces to so many names on the forum. Some lovely rides too, and so immaculately maintained.

All the king's horses and all the king's men
Couldn't put Humpty together again.

This was led on by Viddy. He just wanted to prove that this mechanism would not work and he was right. Why else would you even think of opening this boot?

Thank god, Ajmat arrived a little late and not one day early.

Re: Quick Meets at Bangalore

What a lovely meet! I have met tons of Bangalore based Team BHPians before but this was my first official meet in the garden city.

Nice to catch RSudarsanan, whom I had missed a few weeks ago at the Lonavala (Bombay-Pune) meet.

Viddy messing with my BIL’s Superb boot (it refused to open the notchback way) was hilarious. I literally had to beg him to stop saying my sis would make me shell out the 30k (an estimate provided very confidently by Arjun Reddy) to fix the boot!

Some pics I took:

To end the suspense, that’s L-R: added flavour, Suhaas Manjunath, Suhaas307 and MKPSuhas. But I like Viddy’s way better!

Re: Quick Meets at Bangalore

Great meeting you guys. Sorry, I was late. My Saturday afternoon + night was hectic.

In addition to trying to reboot the Superb,(correcting the above, it worked the notchback way, not the hatch back way!) the team blessed my "new, deflowered" Polo 1.6 and also upstaged a Safari Group meet happening concurrently!

Wonderful meeting you all in my first Offline Meet.
There were a few known faces and many new ones.
For those who attended the meet and don't remember me - I'm the one with the 'horse story'.

Your bike makes waaaaayyyyy too much noise, what with all the back fire and all. How do you tour with it man? And no problems with the cops in the city? Haven't you added a power commander or something after getting a new pipe?

I actually think its alright below 5k rpms ... just how a proper Ducati should sound. Beyond 5k rpm though - it's properly loud. And this is with the db-killer.

I dont use the bike in the city - so touchwood no issues with the cops so far. Plus clutch is your best friend when you see a cop. I put the Termi FS which comes with a Ducati factory remap key for the ECU - so no need to put a fuel controller like PCV. Backfire you heard is probably me using the Quickshifter - gives a nice small boom as ECU misfires for a cycle to let you change the gear without rolling off the throttle
